 isn't insane?

I kind of like the 2nd deal. Butler could be a good choice moving forward next to Martin.

Why?[/quote]

Because other teams have to agree to deals.

Udrih Arenas
Martin Salmons
Butler Stevenson
JT Jaminson
Hawes Miller

That's would be good for both. Or not?
Wizards doesnt have too many choices right now, and we need to leave the ostracism and insignificant deals like Mike Bibby, Ron Artest...
Lets try something!

No, it's not. Salmons has played quite well this year, but he's not nearly as valuable as Caron. And he won't be enough of any upgrade defensively to really significantly help them on that end, which is their real problem without Haywood.

lets get it done!

Take Banks out and it's a deal, we'd even throw in a 2nd rounder to bridge the difference. Banks' contract is not wanted here cuz we'd just keep Brad and Kenny than take an extra 4-5 million hit in 2011, especially when it's dead weight like Banks.

the heat really want to get rid of banks......

anyway, I made a slight change to the deal. Added Orlando in.

Sac Trades- Thomas and miler
Receives- Marion and Brian Cook

Orlando Trades- Cook
Receives- Banks

Miami trades- Banks, Marion
Receives- B Miller, K Thomas

I think Orlando would do it. They could use an athletic backup pg and cook does nothing for them anyway. Also, they are not in the 2010 race

Here is the only problem. I don't see petrie making a move unless it helps them build for the future.
I like Marion, but why trade for him if your going to lose him in the offseason, and I'm not wild about Cook. I know he can shoot the 3, but still...

If we were trying to keep Marion for the present future, then I would be more willing to do it.
I guess regardless of who it is, this team needs some fresh blood thrown in. If we could get Caron Buttler, that'd be freaking awesome.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

this trade instead would help our rebuild.....hawes and thompson would have more minutes and next summer we won't have miller's heavy contract

And we still have the option of re-signing Marion or even better, creating even more space through another deal or two to go after another FA or make a trade. I'd hella do that Marion and Cook deal.

Return to Sacramento Kings
