Post#1 » by Vooch » Fri Nov 28, 2008 5:39 pm

Im sure all of you have heard of what is going on in Mumbai right now. I have family there and I am sure many of you have family there also. Please take a few minutes to pray for the people taken hostage and tehir families.
Thanks.

Ugh, that's a terrible news. I hope your family members in Mumbai are okay.

I won't pray for jack!!!!

Religion is what has caused half of these problems! If no one suffered the opression of religion, then half of this crap would never happen!

Whatever your views are on religion, I would hope that you would still value human life. :nonono:

You do realize that as an atheist you are the *first* one that the Islamic radicals want dead, don't you? To them you are the true infidel, before even those of different faiths. I spent a year alternately fighting with and talking to these people, and while they hated me, at least they respected me. Atheists are worth less than dirt to them.

The Indians are our natural allies on a number of fronts in both the struggle against Islamic radicalism and asian geopolitics. We should stand with them in times like these. Vooch, I hope your family is all good.

And anyone who doesn't get the word "terrorist" (that's you, Patterns) needs to travel overseas and try to meet some new people. These people are not "Freedom Fighters" or anything like that. They want you either dead or converted and living according to 7th century rules, and they will use terror to acheive the latter.

ETA: Looks like the terrorists just tried to attack one of India's airports. Breaking...

That's really unnecessary. If you think this thread serves no purpose, just ignore it. No need to mock the OP, let alone respond.

Yeah, that was kinda un-called for, thats why he stated saying its "OT" -- "off-topic".

"What makes you say that? Most of us here are Americans. No offense."
