Roy for Brand

Post#1 » by The_Edge15 » Wed Dec 3, 2008 7:57 pm

This is a tough one. I'm currently in 1st place so I feel like I don't need a big trade. Any thoughts, standard 9-cat 12 team league here is my team:

Paul
Jameer Nelson
Rudy Fernandez
BRoy
Ray Allen
Joe Johnson
Deng
Francisco Garcia
Bargnani
Spencer Hawes
Varajao
Camby
Okur
Pryzbilla

Why in gods name would you want to do that... You're team is fine as it is... Roy is playing like a top 15 fantasy baller and I don't see any reason why he shouldn't keep that up... Your centers are just fine as is

how are you in the first place with a team like that?
pull the trade, i know it's not an easy one, but ur C pos pretty thin. brand's better in the long run i think.

Tough call...

If I didn't see your team I'd say easy yes to that question, but you really need what Roy brings...
PTs, 3's and Assists; considering your only dynamic scorer is JJ and your only guy for assists is CP3. Both are great at what they do but if you don't have guys to compliment their strengths then you waste having those two on your team.

Thanks for the advice all. I will keep Roy.

I'm in 1st place because of my late picks (Bargnani, Fernandez and Hawes) as well as CP3, JJ, Roy and R Allen having great starts.
