If the Grizz were not rebuilding, I might consider that trade. I really like Kaman at center, but his salary would hurt the Grizzlies' long-term prospects of landing a stud free agent. So, no thanks...

Hmm. We could throw in another pick, if those contracts we're trading for are relatively long.

Essentially you're trading Gasol and his incredible contract for Kaman and a not so good contract. Oh, and the Grizz are "throwing in" Kyle Lowry, Darko (and his not so bad contract) and Quinton Ross - I don't think so.

If the Clippers are ready to shed some contract, I'm sure something can be arranged, but Gasol won't be a part of it.
