So...

Post#1 » by darkadun » Wed Dec 3, 2008 6:26 pm

Yesterday, I saw Brad MIller walking around Best Buy. Took me by surprise, but I went up and asked him when he thought the kings would win a basketball game. He just stared at me and I walked off.

Good times.

Which Best Buy? You should have asked him if he any drugs to sell, maybe that would have gotten a better response from him ;)

I saw him in Best Buy on Christmas Eve last year, the same one. . .I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that was pretty ****** up. But it did take some balls.

I don't think that's fair to do that to an athlete.

BRILLIANT logic there, so since you don't have the athletic ability, drive, determination, nor any of the other skills or talents to become a muli-millionaire athlete yourself, the money they make gives you the right to harass and/or embarrass these guys. this is directed more toward Nicky Nix Nook. people like you disgust me. what these guys do is more then "play a game" then go home and collect a huge paycheck. the amount of time and energy spent, the balls and mental strength it takes to play in front of 20 thousand people every other night for the majority of the year and take unrelenting barrages of insults from said fans, the grueling traveling and being separated from friends and families are just a few of the reasons these guys make what they do. that whole "well they are rich" argument is weak, i'd like to see how you felt about people harassing you in public just because you make a lot of money.

anyway, towards the dude that started this thread. i don't really believe you. its easy to come on a message board and sound like a tough guy or some edgy crazy guy that would confront a professional ball player on a bad team and ask him something like that.

but lets pretend like you really did go up to brad and say that, lol you know what he probably thought?

nothing.

he went and most likely spent an incredible amount of money on products from best buy, then hopped in his insanely expensive vehicle, most likely a truck or suv, then he drove home to his mansion in granite bay or whatever stuck up rich neighborhood in placer county he resides in.

3 things i almost GUARANTEE that YOU did not do lol.

i doubt brad is that concerned lol

WHOA!!! take it easy, I think you got me all wrong. don't say "people like you disgust me" when you don't know me.

NOW, I was basically saying, EXACTLY what you said at the end. Did you miss the part where i said "that was ****** up" and "I agree to an extent"? All i was saying is that I don't have sympathy for him because at the end of the day, having some dumb kid come up to you and say "Kings suck" is worth ALL THE OTHER PERKS of being an NBA athlete.(like all the ones you listed)

Hey, pay me what Brad gets paid and you can stuff banannas in my butt can call me a gay gorilla.

Still, if true that is pretty rude, and a poor representation of a Kings fan IMO.

To 91siccx. Your right, I did see him but I didn't actually say that too him. It did cross my mind tho :P

I was saying it here as more of joke than anything. Sorry if you took it literally.

** and to clarify again, I wouldn't actually ever say that to any members of the kings, because your right, it is rude. I was just making jest with you guys here.

I wish you really did say that to Brad. I have met him a handful of times and he has been a complete A-hole everytime. I like the guy's skills but when it comes to interacting with the fans he is a douche bag.

As mean spirited as it is, I'll admit, I did laugh when I first read it.
