3 upcoming home games

Post#1 » by Copperhead » Tue Dec 2, 2008 7:37 pm

Phoenix, Memphis, Charlotte.

Hornets need to string together a few wins. They haven't played as many games as a lot of other teams and it seems they're getting left behind. They need to win all of these games because after that, they're on another 3 game road trip and then they'll have another 3 game homestand. One good thing is that in the 2nd week of December they'll start playing games more frequently so hopefully they'll be able to start to get into some kind of rhythm.

Mo will play but will not start and Nash's status seems to be unknown at this time.

After missing consecutive six games with a sore right knee, New Orleans Hornets shooting guard Morris Peterson is expected to play but not start tonight against the Phoenix Suns, Coach Byron Scott said.

Also, Phoenix guard Steve Nash did not participate in the Suns' shootaround this morning at New Orleans Arena. The team said Nash had a virus, they weren't more specific, and didn't give a status report on if he'll play tonight.

For the Hornets, Peterson hasn't played since the Houston game on Nov. 15.

Much better win for the Hornets, Memphis should be a pushover now they've come back to Earth and we need to get revenge on Charlotte for the early season stumble.

The big question, can Tyson pull down 15+ boards in one of the next two games?

This is what got the Hornets in trouble against Atlanta and Charlotte. They probably thought they were pushovers. Hopefully they won't go into the game thinking any team is a pushover and play hard for 48 minutes. Memphis will be only the 2nd team we've played in the SW division. All I know is, the Hornets need to string together some wins.

Hornets better come into the game against Memphis ready to play hard. They've had 3 days off since the last game and we know how lazy than can appear to look after being off for 3 or 4 days. The Grizzlies beat the Clippers so they'll be feeling good about their win so the Hornets better not even give them a chance to think they can win. They'd better not underestimate this team. GEAUX HORNETS!!

Hardwood Classic Night Wednesday against the Bobcats. Hornets will wear Bucs unis. Bobcats coach Larry Brown used to play for the ABA Buccaneers. I don't care much about what the Hornets wear. They can wear seersucker and polka dots as long as they get the win.
