Bosh=Lakers 2010
I have a feeling that Lakers are gonna get Bosh in 2010. Phil Jackson is big on Bosh & being from the
Toronto area ppl are saying how this could happen. Kobe & Bosh are friends too...They may have to clear out Gasol though to make room...

Simple answer. They won't. It would require at least Kobe opting out and trading away Gasol for 2010 expiring, neither of which is likely to happen. Plus neither Ariza or Farmar could be extended, and we still have at least 11 million in guranteed money from Luke and Vlad. Let's just kill any thought of the Lakers being a 2010 player.

Well if they do go after Bosh, they'll have to trade Gasol away thats forsure & someone else. Thats the only way man....I would assume Laker Fans would know Phil is so high on Bosh???Don't u watch the games when he comes to Toronto???The guy is always on his back@!

Re: Bosh=Lakers 2010
why would we trade away Gasol, he has been great
and Bosh, Wade, and Lebron are all signing with NY
i thought that was common knowledge

Re: Bosh=Lakers 2010
anything is possible but it'll take too much for us to acquire him. Too many things are happening during that time.. I think they rather keep the core team unless we get blown out again this post season.
All i know is it'll be hard to keep Ariza the way he's playing. The guy got heart. 3 steals in a row? damn almost brought tears to my eyes thru amazement. Teams will offer him more than we can afford... we'll see tho

Re: Bosh=Lakers 2010
Pau Gasol for Chris Bosh? ITS A NO NO NO!!! Try to think man Bosh is trying to be the man and if he goes to the Lakers he is just the robin not Batman. Pau fits so well in his robin role, he has no complaints and he gets the Job done besides why would we trade Pau he perfectly compliments Andrew Bynum while Bosh would just clog the middle or would destroy the team offense because he is always a shoot first pass later center/forward. Mitch don't do it. I rather have stephon Marbury with us than Trade Pau Gasol for a guy name BOSH....

I'd really like Bosh here because he's a great guy with solid skills. With that said though, I doubt that the Lakers get him in 2010 because of the current roster and financial situation.

Re: Bosh=Lakers 2010
Bosh is also friends with Lebron and Wade and NY will have money for both. NJ will also have alot of money and so will about 10 other teams.
Just because Phil loves Bosh and Kobe and him are friends from the olympics means nothing.
Teams that clear room are teams that are rebuilding. Unless you are like the Spurs and get lucky and somehow get stars and get cap room that is the rare exception. For the most part unless you think the Lakers will suck next year they will not be rebuilding and will not be clearing space for Bosh.

Re: Bosh=Lakers 2010
Bosh is the worst inside defender in the league and a black hole in the offense. He's a great scorer but that's all he does well.
By the way, raptors have a losing record when Bosh goes 40+
