Friends grow deep - Did Kobe purposely miss that shot?

I was reading this article on ESPN and thought it was hilarious yet troubling at the same time. I mean, according to the article it was more like a joke.. but you couldn't help but think.. Mr. Clutch.. missed? hehe. Maybe it was for old times sake but imagine if it had gone the other way.

Here's the whole article http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=281205027

After banking in a running 12-foot jumper over Caron Butler with 25 seconds left, Bryant missed the second of two foul shots 10 seconds later, giving the Wizards a chance for the upset. Butler said he tried to get in Bryant's head before the free throws.

"I was messing with him," said Butler, Bryant's teammate for one season in Los Angeles. "I went and walked up to him and said, 'Man, give me one."

Comes to show that friendship can grow deep between friends.. or was it just a fluke that Kobe misssed that second free throw. Merry Xmas Caron. :D

Nooooooooo........ Kobe will cut any teams throat at any givin moment.
He doesnt have friends that wear other jerseys during a game.
Ya maybe after the game is over but not while its going on, actually he thrives on beating his so called friends while he is on the court, its his domain and his world and he feels like he is the best and anyone that challenges him is trying to take him off his throne.
And we all know to well, that wont happen.
He just missed. Thats all. Butler got in his head.

Not even close in what your trying to assume, guys what to win too bad to "throw" a game. If you ever played any sports that thirst to win is the greatest greed that burns inside of an athlete. The thrill to be on top is undeniable, something like my boy Tony's passion with the ladies........

I think our goal is to lose 3 games before the Celtics game, no more, no less than 3 games :)

That will give Phil Jackson 999 WIns and a Christmas game with give Phil Jackson 1000 Wins

Imagine that eh :)
