Thanks for making the GT dcash.

I was watching a few old games from the lakers this year and it seems like Farmar has court vision problems. There's been games where LO or Kobe would have great post position down on the block and he absolutely refused to dump it down there. Im going to keep watch of that tonight.

Bynum vs Bogut is also always good. Hopefully Bynum can shut him down.

Good to have a GT up there.

One thing I have noticed in these last few games are when we are in the last few minutes of the game is that the Lakers do not run the offensive which got us the lead. Kobe starts by playing one on one on his man and just stalls the movement of the rest of our players. Kobe needs to do a better job if he wants the ball he should look for teammates along with his shot. The opposing team knows when the game is in the last 5 minutes Kobe does not look to pass and makes it easier for them to double Kobe.

i'm hoping for a return to the old trail after the 1st, close after the 2nd, blowout city 2nd half routine that the lakers were doing instead of the recent blowout after one, get overconfident in the 3rd, squeak it out in the 4th habit. as frustrating as it was to see teams always keep up with the lakers after 1 and 2, it doesn't compare to the disappointing road trip.

Man worthy I've been saying that for like forever..................I can't believe I was arguing with cats saying Jordan could be up in the upper tier of guards...............but I see that was a lie.

Thanks dcash, I was gonna throw a GT out here earlier, but I couldn't figure out how to get the images to show up.

Heads up, after the game, FSN is replaying Game 5 of the 2004 WC semis, a.k.a. 0.4

ha, yeah, plenty to complain about jordan. with higher expectations comes a more critical eye. my pet peeve is that his answer to getting burned on the defensive end isn't to play better d, its to drive at his man with his head down. ramon sessions is going to be a good matchup with jordan.

I think he has the tools to be a very good gaurd in this league but he is so stubborn. Then, when I read in the LA Times that he pretty much ignores coaching or has had problems with being coached in the past it kinda makes me wonder. Theres been games when LO has been on the box being gaurded by a smaller guy and like 3 trips Farmar didnt pass him the ball. I think LO even cursed at him. Its like he wants to do things his way, which sometimes isnt a good thing.

iamworthy posts a worthy point....i was thinking the same...
farmar has a very big ego and i mentioned that before...dont get me wrong, having an ego in the nba is good for our team since it makes us a bit stronger, but dont let that get in the way of how basketball is supposed to be played.
i even read that during a practice...it was the strarting 5 vs bench mob, and farmar was jawing back and forth with kobe in a close game...ultimately, kobe knocks down the game winner lol.

personally, i dont think farmar has what it takes to be a good pg. his ego is too big, and hes been hard to coach in the past. besides, hes too weak.
im not hating on him, because he does have an above average jumper and huge ups for a white boy lol, but being a point guard, if he doesnt feed his teammates at the proper times, hes going to be a pretty bad playmaker, and possibly a distraction to this team

Dcash, I owe you 1 of these for the Pac-Man fight . Good call, I didn't give him a chance but I guess the Golden Boy is fully tarnished now. Good call

well, the lakers only won by 5 last yr at home and lost to them in milwaukee. add that to the way the lakers have been playing down to their comp, and it might not be a walk in the park. hopefully drew decides to dominate the boards against the center that was taken #1 overall in his draft.

Not our starting five, though Allen only really starts because he does a decent job on defense. Off the bench we have the rookie (though he doesn't play like one) Mbah a Moute, CV and Sessions. The rest of the bench, yeah pretty horrid for the most part. We are developing a scrappy mentality though, which has helped keep us in games we probably should have lost by at least 10.

i've been surprised with luc's success. i didn't think he'd have much of an impact in the nba. ucla going to be well represented in this game with gadz and luc coming back. the pac 10 in general is going to be well represented

ucla: ariza, farmar, gadz, mbah a moute
ariz: walton, jefferson
oregon: ridnour
cal: elson

I would love for Josh Powell to get more minutes. He's the kind of guy we need when we play the celtics because he seems like hes not scared to mix it up down low.

Rick Fox keeps it real. He said he wants one of the buck guards to hit the floor from one of our bigs putting him there.

Anyone know a website where I can check head to head matchups. Like Kobe vs Artest or Bynum vs Bogut. I would love to know what players do against certain players.
