Victory Cigar - Celts vs. Pacers 12/7/08

Post#1 » by Jammer » Mon Dec 8, 2008 2:11 am

Got to give this one to Kevin Garnett & Ray Allen.

There's no way KG (20 Rebounds) is second to anyone today.

Monster Game.

1 cigar for one player per win, don't make 2 players an option.

Ray was hitting the shots... but this team gets blown out without KG tonight.. 17/20/4/5 steals

no one else was playing D at some points, he kept the game alive

Garnett gets it

KG was the best overall, along with 20 rebounds and 17 points he had 5 steals and 4 assists.

Ray had a monster game too, he is close second. So its either KG or he with Ray as MVPs of the game :D
Who would win one-on-one in HORSE?

Bird: Nobody beats me in H-O-R-S-E. Besides, Magic cant shoot.

Magic: Larry, you'd have no chance against me one-on-one. I've got too many ways to beat you. Plus, as slow as I am, I'm still faster than you.

Would a moderator please correct my pole for Kevin Garnett

to show 5 steals (not the 1 that one that I typed).

Thank you in advance for your consideration to this matter.

It has to be Ray Allen. KG was cleaning the glass, but Ray kept us in it all night long, and hit the dagger in the end.

Got to give to Ray with KG a close second. Ray was just amazing tonight.

wouldn't win this one without kg because he was cleaning the glass and not allowing the pacers to get extra possessions, plus he was the only one playing defense i think. I'd say kg. he kept us in the game and his rebounds were as big as ray's shots in the end. I like to vote for the both of them but i'm not fond of giving it to 2 players.

this could go either way between the 2 of them. it just depends if you're looking at offense or defense.

No question about it... It's Ray for me...

And it seems like more and more Ray is making his distractors and nit=pickers look foolish...

Here is the bottom line result... the Celtics are now 20-2... best winning percentage in the league and owner of a 12 game winning streak.

Truth be told... I didn't expect the Celtics to start out the first quarter of the season this strong... although the Celtics were very sluggish in the first 10 games and today's game... winners always find a way to win!

Hey guys re-vote, I took out the both players option (there can be only one, cigar is highlander style) but it nuked the old results.

Could you please fix my listing in the poll of KG's stats.

He had 5 steals, not one.

Thank you, SpinMove, or any other moderator who fixes it.

Thank you.

Ray, hands down. KG had a great game, no doubt, but without Ray, they lose. And Ray's been this scorching hot all season so far...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

What I find amazing is our current 12-game win streak is longer than we had ALL of last year. Keep it up guys!
