The second rounder must be 2009, though.

Why does Weaver only get 3 minutes in a blow out loss? I figured that since you guys traded for him, you'd give him some minutes. I'd really like to see what he can offer a team on defense.

Hi, guys, can you tell me the story on Kyle Weaver? Is he hurt, not a good player, hated by the coach or are you guys deep at the 2 gaurd position? I think a guy like Weaver is what most teams need and I'd like to see if he's as good a defender as everyone says. Do you guys see him getting traded or is he a keeper? Thanks in adavance.

As stated earlier in the topic... I think he's a good player and the organization likes him. As far as I know he is healthy and just behind a few guys on the depth chart. When he's gotten some PT here and there he's looked pretty solid.

Most 2nd round picks don't get much PT in the first 20 games of their first season, almost regaurdless of how good they are. Despite the pathetic recrord, we've only been blown out a few times in one bad string of games, and in one of those games I believe Weaver logged over 20 min.

I'm a Laker fan and I think Kyle Weaver is nice.

Potentially a very good role player as a disributor/defender.

The question is: What type of player is best to play next to Westbrook in the backcourt and Durant up front?

Maybe Jordan Farmar could add a lot to a backcourt with Westbrook.

I think he'd fit in pretty good and have a quick learning curve.

Farmar and Vujacic for Weaver and Wilkins.

Hard to say without knowing what will happen at the center spot. I would say that as of now, a great defender that has a lot of range on his jumper would be ideal. Westbrook is really doing pretty well with the ball handling/distributing lately. He's not going to be a 10+ assist/game guy, but he does a good job of making sure the offense is being run. So I don't really think we need a point guard/combo guard. Really a true 2 would be ideal.

Hopefully we can get that true 2 in Harden in the upcoming draft.
