Ron Ron will be an unrestricted FA in the coming off-season. What do you suppose we do with him?

No, but we do have his Bird rights I believe, which means we can offer him the most (but expect we won't).

I fully expect Artest to walk, and management to let him (they will lowball an offer to him of course) unless we win the chip or come very, very close to it (which is unlikely, to say the least).

I don't think you can decide this in December dude.

This will be decided towards the end of the season. If we don't make the playoffs or get bumped in the first or even second round I think the Rockets will let him walk.

Assuming the Rockets don't collapse-or Ron doesn't implode-I would expect the Rockets to offer @ $10mil/yr for 3-5 yrs,w/either a team option,or non-guaranteed on last couple of yrs.

They sign Artest and let McGrady go one way or another.
