Steve Nash is a two time MVP, I agree with his defense only, that's difficult to watch but the guy never was a lockdown defender. Besides the defense he's one of the best, if not the best shooters and ball distributors in the game today.

This falacy that they need to rest shaq and nash on back to backs just F-n bogles me. If we had adequate back ups for both (we do for Shaq) then just play them fewer minutes in each game.
I can see an occasional day off...yet , even then, unless it is injury induced or related... I gotta question the over all thought process. This is a team that will be on the GD bubble to even make the play offs.... I would think that would be the priority rather than sitting starters because they are too f-n old or brittle. It just tells me they are close to being washed up. I like Nash and all, but if he remains inaffective and continues his mediocre play (continuing from last yrs play offs) ... well, I hate to say it, but What have you done for me lately ?

We have a team constructed with individual parts, that seem to have difficulty in acting collectively. The goals and vision (if one really does exist) of the front orfice does not jive with the current personel.

I think you will get a warning. This should not be a subject, but it continues to be on all fronts, from all sides and all sports. It’s a thing that drives me nuts that color or sex is a measurement tool. The way I believe in equality is that everyone is treated the same and no qualifications or mandates by color. The best person gets the job no matter what. But that is what happens with history and trying to overcorrect it.

To Maryvale take. I think he is right. But then again, not many players in this league can lock down a player. I blame MD and Kerr for screwing up this team long term with the trading good solid picks for cash. I guess that lies with the owner too.

I agree we got rid of the wrong piece in JJ. This team could have been great if they would have gave him that 50 mil contract, never signed Q and drafted a solid player in 04. Bad decisions have been made when we could have had a championship team for years. Instead, morons ran the organization and MD was so tight on the way he ran this ship it disgusted me. Barbs with JJ would be a better player and would not be such a spaze with the ball. This team could have been great, but was not allowed to due to bad decisions. Its easy to look in hindsight, but that is what I think.

Though I am definitely mad we lost JJ. He's exactly the type of guy we need playing the SG right now.

I would say a large part of the blame should be put on Sarver for being so damn cheap. He got rid of valuable draft picks for nothing and those draftees turns out the be the kinda guys we're desperate for right now. I'm not saying Sarver should go off and be like Dolan or Cuban and just spend and spend and spend but end up with no championships, but there definitely should be times when he should fork up the millions if it takes us a few steps closer to a title. I just hate how he sees the Suns organisation as a money making opportunity rather than actually looking at it's history and the blood and tears of the players and fans that have made it into the proud organisation it is today. A lot of these NBA teams don't make a huge profit and quite a few lose money, so I hate how Sarver tries scrounger every cent he can from the organisation so he can make himself think that he has a successful team and still earning big bucks.

Uncle Tom is actually a term that refers to an African American who acts out of charater to ingratiate him/herself to the white communinty. So the way it is applied to Kerr is strange above. That is why I am curious what his questions means if Kerr was black? Is he insisting he would be more preferrential to Nash if Kerr was black.
