Usually. I think McHale had more say than Stack or Fred did and when it came down to it, he probably had the final say on matters. Lets see how the FO operates after this.

Taylor was interviewed on the Chad Hartman show and said in the offseason, they are going to bring in someone that will be in a position to have 'the final say'. Whatever that means.

They need to bring in someone from outside the organization. Way outside.

I don't want to see anyone from inside the organization GM'ing us. We need fresh new blood.

What do you have against him as a coach? I know nothing about him as a coach except the fact that we were 19-12. With a totally different roster, of course.

prefuse73 wrote:The line about him wanting to accept responsibility for his guys and prefer to coach and not stay as vp...Im not sure that is an accurate statement. I think taylor demanded it and mchale had to go along and they spun it like he is the good guy.

I thing he really IS a good guy. I agree with the fact that he's made a lot of bad mistakes but how does that make him a bad person? Didn't you guyys talk about this here, after the KG trade? About how McHale took care everybody gets a good deal and being too nice with the traded players instead of making good moves for the organization? I really admire him as a person. Anyway, I hope he does good as a coach and he lifts us somehow from the very bottom of the league. If not, I want Dwane Casey back.
