Yes KG pulled Big Baby arm to tell him to come over here but if you look at the tape KG never once look right at Big Baby. I you call it big baby living up to his nickname. So please stop it, KG was trying to help his teammates were as Kobe was getting on his teammates for making KOBE look bad. You guys might have won the championship if your boy Kobe didn't have to be carried out of the clubs here in Boston. Dude was lying about taking a few "shots" of alcohol. Kobe goes hard both on and off the court.

Offer up some evidence of that to back up your claims bla bla

Have some class brah....

Please, stop back seat modding, Tony. EE.

EE, honestly you have told me this twice on this post and another one last week.
I dont see how Im back seat modding if Im telling someone to show some class?
But okay I wont say it anymore. My bad.
Also I dont mean to put this out here and I wouldve p.md you but Im having a hard time p.ming you and others on here.

That's alright, Tony. My pie ain't hurting. We can air out the little fart stank over Main Street.

Point well taken. It was not a warning or anything, more a personal comment of accumulative nature rather than literal and specific to this post. My apologies for not explaining that. I shouldn't even have commented. But take note of why I reacted — you've often been borderlining on back-seat modding with trolls, lately. Sometimes in a less friendly tone. BSM isn't a big deal in itself. But what happens to us mods when a friendly and liked regular like yourself is allowed to back seat mod, is that we lose a tool with which we could have used to keep an annoying stealther from coming back. That's why this board is so clean, all of you regulars play team with us. We love it and we'd like to keep it that way.

Again, no biggie, but in the future, just try to refrain from corrective type comments (unlike this one which was just some friendly advise, my bad), and you'll always be in the clear. It also makes modding much easier for us if you just hit the report button. That way, we can more effectively do what we do without having to put innocent regulars like yourself in harms way.

Cheers, bud.

Sorry for the derail, snaq. Back to your Kobe-love.

snaquille oatmeal wrote:so how many of you guys remember all the flack that Kobe took in the finals for yelling at his team mates? as I recall there was even some patriot football player (or was it a Hocky player...who cares!) writting an article in the Boston Herald shocked at what an A-whole Kobe was.

today I ran into this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uSay2aWTc0

where is the outrage? I see hypocracy in the GB, they don't mention Kobe at all, but they praise the KG intencity. what gives?

http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=859031&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

on a serious note, I could not stop laughing after watching that video.

Just a note from a C's fan, not speaking a national media scale but just from the perspective of a C's fan, I personally did see this from a completely different perspective than the Kobe thing in the finals. When Kobe was yelling at his teammates I was thinking "a-hole", with KG I'm thinking "leader." When I saw Sasha pitching a fit I was thinking, "bitch", when I saw Big Baby doing exactly the same thing it really didn't bother me, I'm glad he's taking things to heart. It is a complete double standard from a fan perspective. Really what it comes down to is both situations are/were a non-issue (really, the sports media making an issue out of either is what is wrong), and judging your opponent by a double standard is pretty much inherent in being a hard-core fan of one team. Just thought I'd come by and own up to being a hypocrite, and on that note I'm looking forward to the 25th, good luck til then.

And by the way, no one should ever allow Schilling to put a word in any paper or publication, even most Boston fans think he is a complete deuche.

Tony -

I don't know you. I've been around this board only a short time, but it's a great place to have discussions with other fans about the Lakers. I normally wouldn't post anything critical of anybody unless they blatantly come out and lie, but not just lie, they flat out flame and attack a Laker. I don't like fights, and I don't look to instigate them. I'm the last person that the word "class" should be questioned with.

Erik -

On most boards I've been on, the mods do nothing, in fact they will look to punish those who stand up for other fans or even the players before they take steps to get rid of the troll. I have no idea how you guys run this board, but I sincerely hope that if posters come in and attack a Laker or a poster like this guy did(attacked Kobe), you will take those actions into account and use your own judgment to assess what needs to happen.

Again, I don't look to instigate arguments or fights, but it does piss me off considerably if a guy like that is allowed to come in here and spew lies without some actions taken to get rid of that problem.

Honestly it wasnt personal towards you at all, all I said was show some class.
But since Im not a Mod and its not my buisness to address this issue.
I will step back and let EE or one of our Mods to address this, since I think EE did clearly explain what he expects and will enforce on our board, but again Im the last guy that will sit around and allow peps to talk their ish on our board, believe me.
I use to be worst than you and a lot of posters on here, but as time goes by and if you watch and learn from other vet posters, you can actually see that there are other ways to approach inuslts and trolls than stooping to their level.
Oh I do talk my ish but I keep it to a certain level, you know that saying " Two wrong dont make one right" well in my book two wrongs make it even............ AT TIMES, but not all the time.
Again I didnt mean anything rude or disrespectful towards you or your post, I JUST TRY TO SHARE SOME ADVICE.
Thats all brah.

ReaListik,

No worries. There is a reason for why we don't have much poo-flinging here. Next time, just press the report (!) button in the post you find in violation. The mods get notified and we make the judgment whether or not someone is violating the T.O.S., not you or any other poster. Unlike some other boards, we actually do take care of it here. You may have noticed the nice vibes and lack of trolls. The alternative free for all leads nowhere but down.

Look at the report button as your most sinister reply to any and all trolls in the future. If you fling back, they'll immediately come back with even stinkier poo. If the mods issue a warning, the trolls typically don't come back. If they still come back, we give them a second warning. Next they'll be suspended. But we can't warn them without warning you if your post is also in violation of the TOS. It ties our hands sometimes.

The Lakers Board Rules announcement up top shed some more light on how we like to operate.

Again, welcome to the board, bud. It's refreshing to read good posts by new insightful posters like yourself.
