With Boozer's extension coming up, you guys are going to be hard pressed to keep your team together with all of that salary.

This deal cuts into AK's monster salary while getting some good value back. You get a good young big man and a first round pick to continue to build around your youth.

Toronto gets the guards/wings they need, and the Warriors need a guy like AK to help fix their defense.

Yeah, I really hate this trade, honestly. We lose a lot and don't gain anything we don't already have much better versions of.

Horrible for the Jazz. We get considerably worse on defense without adding anything that we don't already have. Plus, we would have to cut two players, since we already have a full roster. Warrior's fans don't get it. The only thing they have, and that we want, is Andris Biedrins. There's really no other skill set on that team's roster that we can't duplicate with the guys we already have.

I think it might be a good deal depending on salaries.

(sorry Jazz fans)
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

To be fair, we aren't getting any players from the Warriors' roster in this trade ;)

So lets see we have 15 players on our roster already, so we'll have to waive one, plus the Raptors might miss the playoffs so we get damn screwed on that pick? Sounds like heaven for Toronto who two guys who could start on many teams in Maggette and Azubuike, for 3 bench players and a protected pick? Yeah, keep dreaming.

At first glance it looks like the Warriors make a dumb move here, but they do have a million guards..

C Biedrins/Turiaf
PF Kirilenko/Brandan Wright/Richard Hendrix
SF S.Jackson/Anthony Randolph/Rob Kurz
SG Crawford/Morrow/Belinelli/DeMarcus Nelson
PG Monta/CJ Watson/Marcus Williams

Hmm they get an extra PF, so it's a big plus for that team. Atleast two good guys at each position too.
