TRADE FELTON

Post#1 » by identity » Sat Dec 6, 2008 4:05 am

i'm very serious

i really hate **** small lineup

small lineup hurts our defense

it's certain that felton can't take pg roll under larry' system.

don't overestimate him.

dj- j rich(felton) -j rich ( g.force)- g.force( j dudley) & sometimes fat may - okafor

how ugly

there are some teams that want felton . now it's the time to trade felton because he has value.

against minnesota, okalahoma ?

two games mean a lot?

as u know, felton will become restrict free agent next summer.

sometimes larry use him sg because he is dual guard not pure point guard.

don't get me wrong . i don't dislike felton

but he doens't fit well in larry's system.

i can agree to a "trade felton" argument... but not one that involves ray's defense as a factor. ray has been fantastic on defense this year, including guarding sgs.

Felton don't fit in this system ? We must be watching different players. All i see is inprovment ever game he plays under Brown .
Last game
19 points, 8 assist on 8 of 12 shooting.
Over 10 assist in two or the last four all so . All so Felts has been all most lock down on shooting guards . At the very least average on s/gs .
DJ14 and Felton work very well in the back court toghter . No liabilitys at all.
We still just need a p/f who can clean up the boards and help Mek. Thats it.

I happen to think that Felton and Augustin have really good chemistry out in the court. I like the look of the squad with Felton and Augustin out at the same time.

I am starting to think that the small ball at the G spot is working. It isn't Felton or DJ's fault that we are thin in the frontcourt.

There is some evidence for that, FFP... when Ray and DJ are playing together, this team actually has a positive +/-, we'd be at +0.9 per 48, which would be slightly better than the Pistons. Of course we can't actually play them both together for 48 minutes, but still.

Unfortunately what this really indicates is that Matt Carroll is horrible and drags the team down tremendously whenever he's on the court. Also, we suck when Wallace plays PF but are great when he plays SF; same goes for JRich when he plays SF instead of SG.

All of this combines to suggest exactly what FFP is saying... the lack of a PF is completely crippling to us at all times, and tends to push everyone out of position to suck simultaneously.

So basically if we trade Wallace for a PF and move J-Rich to SF and run the Felton + DJ combo we'll be all set? :)

I would not be in favor of trading Felton. I like the small backcourt and believe it creates more problems for opponents than it causes for us. LB had a lot of success with the small backcourt in Philly with AI and Snow. I think our version is better than the Philly version as both of our guys are capable scorers while Snow was basically just a defender.

you don't get my point.

felton is hard worker . and he showed some good games

that is true.

but the point is that felton is not pg under larry's system.

got it?

why use **** larry dj- felton together?

how many points u wanna give the opponent?

and if larry **** coach want felton in his roster, he must use him pg not sg.

ok if u don't agree to trade felton, take expended contract with him now and give money he want like okafor.

wow. and that will destroy the future of charlotte bobcats. we will be always looser.

ok let's judge charlotte players

dj augustion - larry like him. solid rookie but not superb. he has defense problem

i don't blame rookie because he is a rookie.

j-rich - go to guy liable but not superb he likes 3-point too much and maybe a little problem but not serious

g-force - some moron think he is fantastic and a super star. but in fact his jumpshot is unstable, and the most significant problem is that there is no senergy between j-rich & him since last year.

sean may - fat may , lazy .. need more?

morrison- showed us some improvement but still under average nba player. at least he is better than fat may.

okafor - he should have paid about 8-9 million because he don't have enough offense ability.

nazr - certainly larry dislike him. i don't know why. maybe no bq.. wow 6-million just 10 minutes. some team may want nazr.

alexi - all we know alexi not ready. at any way he has potential .and larry like him. ok just wait...

twiggy - larry still don't use him. so he has no potential and BQ ?

felton - he will be restricted free agent next summer, so we must make a choice .

carrol - larry dislike him. but he is a good outside shooter.

shannon & dudley& jones - both good . because their payroll is low haha.. larry like dudley because he has basketball sense. how efficient.

larry dislikes many players.. lol

we are not uptempo team. and larry must use twin towers until trade will be done/ that is the key point

lol, simple and to the point.

There's no doubt, this team will need to look much different next year if we want to win.

I wouldn't trade him (unless it's a "no brainer" type deal). He still has the potential to be a very soild role player - if he commits to playing to his strengths and not outside of his comfort zone.

He's a work horse, a high character guy and has some great skills. The only thing that I am a little nervous of will be his price tag over the summer (damn you market rate!!). In saying that, I really, really, really think he is the type of guy who would have no problem giving a home team discount just to stay close to his family and the place he loves.
