UW set to face FSU in Champs Sports Bowl

Post#1 » by MadCityBucky » Mon Dec 8, 2008 12:30 am

December 27th at Orlando, Florida.

Will be shown on ESPN at 3:30 CDT

I think that FSU has a good team despite getting their ass kicked by Florida and expect them to win. They're a very athletic team full of speedsters. This might be a long day for the Wisconsin secondary.

Florida State - One Rhodes Scholar
Wisconsin - Zero Rhodes Scholars

We're screwed.

I was surprised he won it. I read an article on the possibility last summer and it sounded like he was a long shot. I'm glad he did, though. Really great kid. Part of me would like to see him go for it at Oxford now, the other side thinks he'd be an awesome second round pick.

Everette Brown should be on the Packers radar if he comes out.

I hope Badgers win obviously but they'll be better next year if they recruit this guy.

He's my friend's little brother, he's going to college next year, #1 wide receiver in the state of Wisconsin, Ben Ericksen. Voted AP player of the year, get him Badgers!

FSU is no Cal-Poly.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I watched him against Pewaukee in the playoffs. He snapped in the game but it looked to me like he needs to put on a lot of muscle to be an impact D1 player.

FSU is way too fast for the Badgers. I expect a slaughter.

Hope we get our ass kicked. I want Bielema on the hot seat from Day One next year.

Don't worry Mags, FSU will murder UW. Sherer against the speed of FSU's D will be comical to watch.

You never know. I'm sure people thought the same thing before we played the SEC teams in the Capital One bowls. And then we end up punching them in the mouth and running all over them. Sometimes you can beat the crap out of speed.
