The Rules

Here's the deal - after each win, we'll have a player of the game thread. You post the top 3 performers (1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place). The top-3 vote-getters will receive points...

1st place = 3pts
2nd place = 2pts
3rd place = 1pt

At the end of the season, I'll tally up the point totals and put it into a thread. We should have a good idea of who was the most valuable player, at least according to Wizards fans. :D

The poll winner is for posterity only. It has no affect on the recorded winner. If you want your vote to count, post the top-3 performers.

Songaila. *5* rebounds for Songaila is like 20+ for Dwight Howard. I have to recognize what must've been a herculean effort for The Mede.

I find it hard to believe Carons not getting more first place votes I mean 33pts 5reb 6ast on 9/15fg 14/14ft is a pretty sick line. Thats what I call efficient.

Recently the Wiz have been hucking long jumpers instead of attacking the iron. Got to respect Caron driving right into the throat of the defense. And 33 pts 6 ast-- that accounts for 45 pts at a minimum that he had a hand in.

1. Caron
2. Darius -- key defense on Rasheed. Offense ignited with him on court.
3. Dixon -- ever-ready.

THEY WON?!?!?!?!

1. Dixon
2. Songaila
3. Butler

Based on the stats (and the fact that he's been MIA for 2 weeks) I'll give it to Juan. But Darius shows up again. Keep upping that trade value, baby!

Caron - 14/14 fts. Yeah buddy.
Dixon - +33. Did you see him shoving people into correct defensive position? Dude is a coach on the floor. And he has heart. I just love him to death.
Songaila -- Playing his heart out lately, and playing good d.
Help us, Obi-wan Leonsis. You're our only hope.

BTW, I love the new voting format. It's a great idea, this way it doesn't get redundant.

DSong
Butler
Dmac

I was at the game, and DSong was large and in charge last night.

And I'm almost inclined to give Dray some love for that silly dunk over sheed.

1. Butler
2. DS9
4. Juan

I seriously thought Sheed was going to choke someone out after Dray dunked on him and then a play or two later DMac added insult to injury by going right by him for a sweet reverse layin. Granted it doesn't take much to fire him up but he was especially riled up last night.
