Rockets dominated 1st and 4th quarter. Not sure what they were thinking at 3rd but a win is always good and cure all sickness.

Yao and Ron played with great energy tonight, especially on defense. Ron shut down Joe Johnson, and Yao closed up the paint and had 19 rebounds. This carried over to the rest of the team.

Yao with 19 boards? You've got to say it's impressive. And he had 20 shots!!! This is what could happen when he is mentally ready. Just demand the ball and make some shots, he could be unstoppable. All mental man, pure mental.

Man our D really picked up when we were down by 8. I thought it was going to be another choke night.

The whole team played Defense.

Artest isn't taking alot of gambles, i think it has to do with either the Ankle or Ric telling him to stop doing it. Its his gambles that make me question his defense at times, where if he misses the gamble, his man is wide open to the paint.

That's the million dollar question. And if Yao can do this 80%, Rockets might already have won a championship. Not too late for yao to show his consistency though

All mental on his part. I hope Ron instills some heart into this man.

Great win, hope was lost when we fell down by eight.

Artest was terrific down the stretch, the three from the corner to give us the lead, the play-making and absolute lock down defense in the 4th on Joe Johnson. He started the run, and finished the run. The medium during the run? Yao, when single covered like he was tonight, and being aggressive, he's one of the toughest players to cover in the league, ten 4th quarter points, but besides the points and timely shooting, his defense in the paint was fantastic. Whenever he was in, the Hawks were forced to shoot jumpshots, and with Artest hounding you on the perimeter, that's a tough task. It wasn't a coincidence when Yao went out, JJ and Smith were able to get to the rim as well.

Landry also had nice energy off the bench too. I'm glad we were also able to overcome the FT shooting.

So can anyone of you guys give me a recap?

Same as yesterday I was working late so I missed most of the first half. Can't complain at least I still have a job.
3rd quarter - man we suck, turnover after turnover after turnover, I'm skipping dinner we watch this? And I just hear from Worrell that we were leading like 16(?) pts in the 1st half? WTF!!! Johnson is knocking down shots and shots over Battier and Artest. Holly!!! Decided to go downstair to grab something to eat, came back upstair we lost the lead. At least I caught the big block by Wafer over Evans
4th quarter - we continue to suck in the first 4 minutes, Atlanta with 8 points lead, Landry hustle put back and foul give us 3 pts, Yao with another and one (missed FT), Arstet with a unlikely3, suddenly we had the lead again. I don't know if it's Atlanta breaking down at the end becaue they are young team on the road or we really put up our game at the end. If we can play like that in the last 8 minutes just for 36 min per game. We can be #2 team in the West.

I made 2 3's and thats it.

I did a D-Wade move, when he step back and shot it.

i remember playing the ridge when i was moved up to varsity in highschool their lineup was crazy then tj ford, daniel ewing, ivan macfarlane, kenny taylor.. i think the whole damn squad went D1.. needless to say all teams in the area gauged how good they were by how many points they lost by.. we only lost by 10...

Oops I was actually referring to if you threw any punches Artest-style since you mentioned there were fights everywhere heh
D-Wade move is sick...

Anyways it was a good win tonight, and Blazers lost by 1 against the Magic..
