Texas weather is so unpredictable just like the Rockets. Monday was in the mid 70s and today it's in mid 30s. Monday we play like .100 team, yesterday we play like .600 team. I wonder how we will play like on Friday.

HOUSTON -- Houston Rockets forward Ron Artest will not make the team's road trip to the west coast where they play Golden State Friday night and the L.A. Clippers Saturday according to his agent David Bauman.

Artest revealed Wednesday that an MRI on his sore right ankle showed two torn ligaments, but that doctors had told him he could play as long as he could tolerate the pain.

"It is my understanding Ron is going to be held out of the road trip because his ankle is really swollen (Thursday)," Bauman said in an interview with FOX 26 Sports. "He'll miss the next two games and be ready to play at home against Denver, giving him seven days off. That's the plan."

In Wednesday's win over Atlanta Artest played 39 minutes, scoring 19 points and pulling down nine rebounds.

Artest said before the game doctors have told him he cannot do any further damage to his right ankle while he plays.

Rockets trainer Keith Jones said Wednesday night they will continue to treat the injury and rest him when the can.

"I have told Ron to play when he feels he can go," Bauman said. "We are not concerned with the MRI. It shows the normal wear and tear.

"The seven days rest should be what he needs to play again."

Well, everyone has to step up Friday, and Yao will have to carry the load. He did so last time he played the Warriors.

It looks like T-Mac will make the trip and is questionable to play.

I hope he is not rushing it , if he plays and lookes the same as before I will be mad they let him play.

Dam it looks like no Artest, we better be ready because it can get ugly without Ron-Ron. Then again, Dr. McGrady is thinking about a decision to maybe play, well I hope the Dr. T-Mac went thorough some good evaluations before making this decision.
