Up Close With Suns GM Steve Kerr

Goran's been terrific. The best sign you can have is when a player sits - does he work hard and plow through, or does he pout? Goran works his butt off every day and he's aggressive at practice and doing everything he can to get back out on the court. I think he will be back out on the court soon. He's just going through what all rookies go through.

Second best point gurd in the draft? BullS***! Michael Beasly would be a better pg than Tragic is right now. Don't get me wrong it's not the kids fault he got caught up in Kerrs tangly webs. He still has the potential to transform into a decent back up but it will take several years. Mr. Kerr, your job was to strenghen our lack of depth behind nash. To do this you sign an unproven second round draftee to a lucrative contract. Your right that makes complete sense.

(what most likely happened on draft night:)

Kerr: "Don't want to spend money on a decent veteran pg Sarver? No problem we will just fake a video and hype the sh** out of some random second round pick. We can pick anybody the suns fans will have no idea."
Sarver: " those poor bastards won't know what hit them!"
Kerr: "Oh, how about this. We can even spice it up by claiming he is the best point guard in the whole draft, bettered only by Derrick Rose."
Sarver: "That a boy Steve, That a boy. Now you are thinking. Now lets go spend the money we saved on a championship to buy hookers and a box of wine, nice bottles are to expensive...."

Just when I try to give Steve Kerr a bit of credibility it goes away...Kerr needs to say Goran needs to improve his shot selection, his defense and than he will be ready to play. Kerr is trying to fool everyone just like when he signed Marks in 07 and said, "He will surprise alot of people".

If Kerr thought Dragic could be a solid player in the league with the #40 something pick that would be fine but saying he's the second best point guard in the draft and would have picked him at #15 is pure lunancy. I wonder if Kerr ever heard of guys like DJ Augustin, George Hill, Mario Chalmers, etc...

As long as US Airways sells out everygame and people buy tickets and merchandise this stuff is going to keep on happening. If the fans can send a message to Suns management like let's say below 10,000 fans show up per game Sarver might change his ways but as of now Kerr and Sarver wont...

From what we've seen Sean is as good if not better than Goran at this point, at times like this I wonder if Kerr is just flat out lying or just deluded.

- Marks is going to surprise alot of people

- Nash will play fewer minutes

- Dragic is the second best PG in the draft

- Our offense will not change from last season

- Our defense will improve

Kerr = ZERO credibility.

Don't forget:

- "The Shaq trade was a success." (Despite the first round exit)

I agree that Kerr has no credibility.

Im not sure if Kerr lives in reality or some fantasy world where he touches everything and it turns to gold. Those statements that mkot gave are true, and make you wonder what the HELL that guy sees. Dragic so far due to the hype machine is a failure! Without the Kerr hype machine, Dragic would be right were he should be as a 2nd rd pick, but with less money.

Guys, this is the nimrod that is running and make personnel decisions for this team. Tell me who has a bit of confidence when all of these good players are gone we will rebound and rebuild to be a contender??? Honestly, with kerr and sarver, I think it will be a long time before that happens.

Better PG’s then Dragic as of now. I know the top 5 there is no argument Dragic is better. I think he is the worst PG in this draft,

Rose
Westbrook
Bayless
Chalmers
Augustine
Hill
Singletery

This is just the work of the Kerr spin machine.
