Not trying to be a smarta** but how has he been a pretty good leader in Toronto? When they traded for JO, I expected Toronto to be one of the top teams in the East however with a 9-12 record, not even in the playoffs if playoffs started today.
I understand it may take some time to mesh so that could be a part of it.
Not trying to be a smarta** but you seem to have answered your own question.
We knew that it was a risk taking a player with a history of injuries and who is getting a bit past his prime. He's had struggles, tweaked his knee and sprained his ankle but he's also had some great games too. Mostly he's been a vocal leader, he's saying all the right things and does so in a well spoken and humble manner while being a tough guy on the court.
For whatever reason we haven't been winning but I can point to a dozen other factors that have hurt us besides any problem with JO.
