If this means less playing time for Ricky D., then hell yeah!

We do have an open roster spot and we need to sign someone.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Dang...on a day where I aced a final AND got a raise...this strikes me as the most exciting news of all! Haha. I'll be surprised if this actually goes through but....it would make for a good laugh. And perhaps boost the club's ticket sales.

Great news, the Suns acquire J-Rich in a steal of a trade and the Clippers are at work solving their problems working out Darius Miles.

Putting Darius back with Zach? You guys sure about that?

It may kill some of our cap space, but I'd love it for the comedic potential.

After expressing myself overly-freely on the Z-Bo trade, I'm simply keeping my thoughts to myself and biting my tongue on this one.

..... so don't say it, don't say it .... oh, I can't stop myself:
The fact that he would be starting his time with his new team by serving a 10-game suspension for substance abuse: is there a message in this at all?

I really don't know about this. He hasn't played in over 2 years. Is he still fat? I know some scouts say they were impressed with him, but tryouts are nothing like a real game or even a whole 82 game season where your body gets beat up nearly every day. I'll admit that a reunion with Darius and Q would be pretty awesome. >.>;

Video of him in the preseason:

Word is they wanted to sign him, but didn't have a roster spot available. As far as I concerned, if he's good enough to play for the Boston Celtics, he's good enough to play for the Clippers.

Darius Miles will not sign with Clippers until at least in Feburary if any signing is it to happen. Remember Clipper Nation you can't sign him to a 10 Day Contract, reason is that he has to sit out 10 games before he can even play because of the drug thing he had going on. So you would have to sign him for the whole year. Will not happen.

We could sign him 10 games before we would need him, lol

Well this needs to be done if for no other reason than screwing over the Blazers. But I must say I was hoping that we weren't going to be the team to do it. Then again how much worse can it really get?

Hey, it was for cataracts. ;)

I understand what you mean, but I personally don't hold a pot suspension against someone too much (if indeed it was for pot.) There is also the other side that even if you are in support of legalization of marijuana, an NBA player should have better judgement and discipline to avoid such problems. But this is not a trade proposal, it's a FA pickup for a former crowd favorite.

I would like to see him back just for nostalgia's sake. Plus he actually seemed in good shape in the Youtube clip.

Miles' anti-drug suspension was actually for his use of Phentermine which is an appetite suppressant.
