Some second round picks

Vince Carter

Throw Serg in their and I'd probably take that if the Nets felt the HAD to dump Vince. But, again I feel this deal would only be discussed if we took on a long salary from another deal and still wanted to keep the pipe dream alive for a 2010 free agent.

There is no way Portland would throw in Rodriquez to bring back carter. He is one of, if not the best point guard off the bench in the NBA this season. If the nets thought they could get fair value for Carter, Portland would obviouslly need to add more talent, but when a team is thinking about dumping someone to get ready for free agency in 2010, an expiring contract and the likes of Travis Outlaw should be more than equal compensation.

Portland really does not want to mess with their point guard rotation during the season because Nate does nto want to have to try and teach someone else the sets and plays during the middle of the season, and Bayless has not proven he is ready to jump in to the backup spot yet.
Andrei should use his once a year "allowance" to bang Cheryl Miller, thus creating the perfect basketball player.
