The LA media is soft. If what you're saying is true, the Bynum needs to become more savvy.
"I can tell you my testicles are the same size," he added later. "They haven't shrunk. They're the same and work just the same as they always have." - Barry Bonds disputing allegations of steroid use.

Re: Lakers watching the C's closley
About the blog, Phil is just being Phil. He always plays head games with players for no apparant reason. If Bynum isn't playing "D" then who is???????? Answer.............................No damn body thats who! If Drew would have stayed in that Pacers game we win for sure. After he went out Nesterovic got almost every rebound when B4 he hardly had any. Phil is a great coach don't get me wrong but he has to many rabbit's to pull outta the hat for my liking. Drew has a little ways to go defensively but for the most part there isn't a player on this team even close to his interior defense so why isn't he in? I agree with Drew!

Re: Lakers watching the C's closley
12 more days ladies.
Looking at the games before then, Celtics have
Utah
@ Atlanta
Chicago
Knicks
Sixers
If the Celtics can beat Atlanta, they very well could have a 20 game streak coming into The Game.
Lakers have a much more difficult schedule leading up to The Game.
Wolves
Knicks
@ Miami
@ Orlando
@ Grizz
@ Hornets
vs Celtics (5th game in 7 nights) That should even up the Staples advantage.
And on a sidenote, in February, the Lakers play the Celtics on the 2nd night of a B2B in Boston right after a Raptors game. I swear the scheduler is a Celtics fan.
No excuses, I expect the Lakers to play well regardless, just thought it was interesting.

But on the other hand Andrew has to realize he's being bated by the L.A. press on the subject because they're too scared to just ask Phil so they funnel the topic to Drew.
This is how I view our situation right now, it's a lot of dirty clothes on the floor and we just have to clean up the room so to speak.........wash out the dirt and get it clean again. Our defense has a leak, Kobe in semi slump and the media pulling the Jedi treatment on Drew.......whenever they want something. We'll see how it goes from here.
Good points. Again, you'd know better than me since I am only reading/seeing what I can nationally, while you're out there in LA. Is his defense really substandard enough that Phil wouldn't put him in in tight games? I believe Phil even said this at one point...
I agree, too, the media end up creating a lot of these controversies just to increase interest...it's lame!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
