Benson predictions?

How good do you think he will be this season? I have very high expectations for him.

I think Lovie is going to ride the hell out of him after limiting his carries for the past 2 years.

I also think he will make the offense MUCH better. TJ often would lose yards and put Rex & co. in tough 3rd and longs. Benson is always going forward and rarely loses yards. With the addition of Olsen I think the 3rd down offense will be MUCH MUCH better and the Bears will be able to move the chains more efficiently. The offense will not have many 3 and outs & will actually make the defense better by giving them a breather which they really haven't had the past 2 seasons.

Anyways - my Benson prediction:

335 carries - 1475 yards - 16 tds - 4.4avg

If healthy, yeah, I give him 1500 yards, and over 4.5.

Exactly, and he has way more talent than Thomas Jones. It's just Jones had a better work approach and did not get hurt as much.

A shade under 1,400 yards at 4.2 per carry and 16 TD's. "Experts" will then claim they said getting rid of Thomas Jones was a good move from the beginning.

250 carries? He got 160 last year and really barely ever played.

& He had 6 TDs as well.

As Darth said, he has to stay healthy. I think he will get somewhere around 1,700 yards and maybe 10-12 TD's.
That isn't a bad year.

I agree with most of you. If Cedric stays healthy and plays in 14+ games I see him with over 1,500 yards and 10-13 TD's

It will be a successful season for his first has the primary back.

He'll definitely be one of those backs that gets stronger as the game goes on.

im expecting wolfe to take some of his carries away..........................290 for just under 1150

wolfe 190 for 750

nice 1-2 that im hoping will go for 1900..................add in petersons scraps and we get to 2050

I agree with that. I bet he'll have some days he just doesn't have a good game, albeit probably hurting.

I'd be really surprised if he only got 250 carries. AP really shouldn't play all that much and Wolfe should only play as a third down back. Benson is going to be a workhorse.
