Two in a row? Is tonight the night?

Both teams played last night, HOU won easily in Oakland, and as we all know, our guys played 58 minutes in a tough one. T-Mac is back, and Yao always goes buckwild on us (even though we did break his leg...literally...that one time). But hopefully, the win last night gives us enough swag to pull this one out in the fourth.

BTW...anyone have any new info on Kaman and Pretty's status? Timetable for return?

We have no one to stop Yao so let him get his and just shut everyone else down.

Last I heard Kaman was supposed to be M.I.A. for a few weeks. Hope he's back by NYE. Bricky Davis needs to stay away. :wavefinger:

I hope we can get two in a row for the first time this season.

camby is a pretty good matchup against yao. he'll get plenty of open looks from the perimeter. yao can only guard the post.

This is off topic but has any one noticed that the grizzlies have already won 8 games? I am surprised.

Any way , I really hope LA can come back home and show the same Intensity and Defense from last night. I am a little suspicious about these injuries to Kaman and Davis?? Are they being held to the side for a potential trade? T-Mac is back so the Clips might have to pick their poison between he and Yao.

Great game for Zach Randolph against the Blazers.
You are either doing or not doing .

Baron, Zach, AL, Eric and Marcus must be at the top of their games for 45-48 mins with Mac out there. No Artest & No Barry will only increase our chances of getting win #6. However, Battier, Scola, Alston(especially) and Landry need to be kept in check that's for sure.

Bring out Novak so he can burn his old team. Hopefully they'll underestimate us and we can take them by surprise. Front Yao in the post, and let Z-Bo do his thing. It's going to be a tough one, but as long as Baron doesn't go into chuck mode and we play team ball, we should keep it competitive. And finally a televised game for me (between my two favorite teams, a nice little bonus).

^^^ Zach Randolph to guard Yao? Dude, are you serious? Guy is a known defensive slacker. The fronting defender has to be athletic and physical. Randolph has neither one of these skills.

We had Randolph guarding Yao in our last game against the Rockets. I think Zach kept on fouling Yao if I remember correctly. I also heard that we're the only team that doesn't front Yao, hopefully we try something different and are successful tonight.

Our bench has to produce. Collins, P-Diddy, and Taylor will get the majority of backup minutes, so they better step up.

Also, two big keys - Baron needs to look for EJ and throw it into Z-Bo in the post more. We do that and we'll have a great chance of winning.

DJ should be that guy fronting Yao but knowing Done-leavy this will never happen.
