Corey Dillon is the name that has been kinda floating around. How much does he have left in the tank though?

When TT picked Harrell, I was screaming and bitching. I also scream and bitch a lot about TT not using cap space. If he picks up a big name, all threats and "ideas" will be gone.

Darius is the only name that comes to mind, but he obviously plays defense. Dillion isn't exactly a "big name" and he would take the roster spot of one of our young backs

Larry Johnson would be dumb to come to greenbay. I mean going from one of the best offense lines in the AFC to one of the worsts in the NFC.

Actually our line was pretty good by the end of the year. They should be even better this year.

Interesting. LJ is the only one player that comes to mind. He'd most certainly cost us our 2008 #1 pick and in a draft that's likely to be among the best drafts for RBs in a long time, I'm not sure I'd be willing to do that deal.

Overall I feel pretty good about Morency and Jackson. See WR & TE bigger need than HB. Our ZBS is suppose to make any back good. So lets see that.

But I'd be OK with getting LJ for the right price. I sure would NOT give up next year's #1 but if we resign Corey Williams I'd give up this years 1st - Harrell or Williams.

Best deal for us (won't happen) - '08 2nd, KGB, Morency or Jackson.

I hope its not Dillon, there is no way that guy has anything left in the tank that would do us any good and it would cost a lot more too...I could see LJ, even if we have morency and jackson, having LJ would draw a lot of attention from defenses and would lift a little attention off of brett and the recievers if the d is constantly worried about a guy like LJ, and our line has and will develop enough to protect him

Best offensive lines in the AFC? Their line was pretty poor. I believe it was so bad that they were begging Willie Roaf to come out of retirement before the season.

This from Woefful today...

About a month ago, Green Bay Packers president Bob Harlan defended his beleaguered general manager Ted Thompson, who has done virtually little since assuming his position and done absolutely nothing this offseason.
But Harlan hinted that Packers fans shouldn

My bet is nothing major happens. Thompson hasn't done anything thus far, so i'm not going to try and convince myself that he will now. He loves draft picks too much to give much up for LJ.

Maybe it's T.J. Houshmandzadeh ... he's got a big name.
Maybe it's Gilbert Brown ... he's big.

There's no way it will be LJ ... Kansas City is looking at starting freaking Brodie Croyle at QB. If they trade LJ, then they will be making Croyle a sacrifical lamb so that KC gets the #1 pick next year.

$16 million of unspent cap room ... whew! Too bad they don't allow Q&A at the Packers stockholders meetings anymore.
