There's not much to say about Joey. I watched him in Detroit and Miami and he just doesn't win games. He has a good arm and 'acts' like a leader but he doesn't complete the important passes and he gets 'happy feet' and panics in the pocket.
He always seems to hang his receivers out to dry with high passes and inaccurate throws. I have not seen him make any receivers happy because they will get open and he bounces it to them or they are going across the middle and he puts it up high where they have to climb the ladder for it and take a shot in the ribs.
He will never be more than a back-up QB and a punch-line for Lion jokes.

Very well stated

Just to pile on, he's kind of the opposite of a rallying leader. Sort of like the unathletic guy who sponsors your rec league hoops team and the only reason you tolerate him is because of that, not because you want him starting at SG. You put up with him and you lend him an ear, but often it's a deaf one.
