^^ Nope. No one would complain about hearing one of your stories twice anyway knowing how amusing they turn out to be.

Re: Community Thread VIII
Well here's a true old school Darko story I'm pretty sure I purposely left out for a while.
Remember that I live on a ranch near the forest and also near suburbia.
Back about 3 months ago I was with my girlfriend and my next door neighbor (also my best friend) was moved out of the house while massive remodeling was going on. It was about midnight and I was driving up our shared 1/4mile driveway and thought it would be a great place for a little fun with my girlfriend. She was down with the abandoned house idea and so I parked in the driveway and we went in.
I remember my buddies dog barking a bit, but he does this at coyotes and other critters all the time, so I didn't think anything of it, but when we got back to my truck I realized someone had ransacked my car. They stole my girlfriends purse and cell and must have been in the middle of it all because my irreplaceable guitar was still behind my seat. I was raging with fury, so I took her home and went back to my place for my wolf and hockey stick.
With my often dangerous 120lb wolf hybrid and trusty stick I went through the orchards the long way and came back up into my neighbors silently in the dark night with no light.
As soon as I stepped out to the place right above where my truck was and out of the avocado trees I came face to face with the guy rummaging through the garage.
I yelled, "Get him" in my best evil doom voice to my beast and after all my training not to bite people... I guess he finally learned something because he ran off home scared by me. ugg
But I was plenty happy to go to town on this dude with the hockey stick and started swinging for fences. He was about 6'2" 200lbs... solid but I think he was on something because despite his wails of pain I wasn't bringing him down. He was able to get to a tree that he had an electric bike waiting under and bolted down the hill. I dove and tried to put my stick through his spokes, but heard it clank off into the orchard.
Winded and glowing with fury, but wondering about what trouble my wolf could be in since he always wants out and could be doing damage somewhere else. I went back to my place to find him cowering on my bed.
So I grabbed my hay hooks and headed back down through the orchards again. This time going deeper and coming up from below the house. I guess I was just a little early because he was there again, but this time about 60 ft below me still on the bike. I knew he was going to bolt so I sat down and started talking to him.
I told him before he ran he should listen and said I'd leave but he best drop the purse and phone in the driveway for me to get later or he was a hunted man who would never escape my wrath. I flashed the hay hooks at him. He never said a word but he listened while I talked of police being the least of his worries. Then i went home and watched my perimeter with a more effective weapon.
When I got home it was something like 2am. I figured I'd wake up at daybreak and get out to investigate again. And when I did I found why he came back the 3rd and 4th time which was curious to me. Well... I guess I had knocked some things off him like his hat and part of the bike. He had also left a purse, but the wrong f'n purse and no cell phone(blackberry).
Pretty crazy a midnight meeting in a dark orchard with a burglar. although he'll probably remember it as a beat down. No way he wasn't sore for a week or better. I got some huge licks in, which is why I think he was either on something or adrenaline was just in full force. I was in full on fight or flight and was looking to straight end him in my primal fury and surprise at finding him arms length away at the very pocket of trees I emerged from. I know from his screaming that he was between 18-early 20's. He still had that voice cracking girlish quality to his shrieks. I'm probably glad he got away because A- Who knows how the police would look on a hockey stick beating death at my neighbors since it wasn't technically my ranch, and B-He never came back which means if he was some punk kid maybe he was scared straight or at the very least he doesn't want to screw with anymore 6'5" berserkers with weapons.

Re: Community Thread VIII
for reference here is some of the orchards:

And here is the wolf when he was still only 75lbs

And for good measure I think this is the face I make when I'm trying to relieve a burglar of his fluffy 3rd dimmension with a hockey stick, or I'm playing Corvus Crow.

Hey miles I've been trying to call/text you over the weekend. I still had your number from that one time we were supposed to ball in LA. The # ended with 672 and you had a certain new york area code (dont wanna go spreading full phone numbers online). Is that # not working anymore? I keep getting sent straight to voice mail.
Anyways dude, I'm leaving ny today after I drop by the NBA store. Ill hit you up next time I'm in the city.

Yeah, man. It's finally getting cold up here, too. Today it's -13 degrees F but with wind chill -33, lol. Apparently it's supposed to warm back up around Boxing Day and I hope it does.

Its too early for you guys to have rules and guidlines and high standards and get invloved in relationships, yes have standards but allow it to be flexable a little.
Life is a journey and we only live once.
Dont ever look back in your life and say I wish I couldve done that.
Look back at it and say been there and done that.
Just making sure this part ^ didn't go unnoticed, Tony. Sage advice. Don't repeat our mistakes, guys. Forget about the long term bs until you're 30 something. Now is the time to enjoy life and play around, to live a little.

It must be thought of as fun. Leave the wrinkled forehead at home. As long as nobody gets hurt it's all fun and games.

I guess that's advice geared at "kids" like me.
Most relationships are just a means to an end for most ppl anyways.

I don't think I could ever enjoy dating.
The idea seems pretty uncomfortable to begin with.

freaking cold, finished with my test and then my van wouldn't start
called dad- didn't answer
called grandparents and they were on their way out, but for reasons known only to me, i decided to wait for them in my car, instead of going back into the college
and with how these things work, right as they are pulling in, i try my car, and it starts
then i proceed to fill up the tank, and now here i am half-frozen
i think it will take my days to feel properly warm again, its warmed up o -5 though
