Victory Cigar #23 12/15 vs. Utah Jazz
Looks like it could be one of three guys. Rondo played well but turned it over a little bit. I liked KG's performance.
Just threw Gabe on there for a nomination to give him some credit.

Gotta go with Rondo he really turned it on down the stretch. KG was great the whole game as well.

KG had a great game. I didn`t like Rondo`s turnovers but whenever he attacks like he did tonight he will get a cigar from me...

I think it should go to Tony Allen since he posted up yet another spectacular game.
In 13:35 minutes he had 1 pt going 0-3, 1-4 from the line with 2 turn overs, and just all around looked lost out there. He's horrible and if you think his replacement wouldn't make us a better team your crazy.
We lose one player from our bench for the night and they just can't score? inexcusable when it wasn't long ago people were saying T. Allen could turn into a scorer the caliber of Paul Pierce.

I agree, it was one of those nights when almost every player on the bench made you want to shake your head. Especially Tony. Yikes.
Powe had an all around bad game, but played ok defensively got some bad calls. Baby showed a little hustle but overall looked lost and I have no idea why he holds the ball for 5-7 seconds on the outside sometimes.

i like what rondo did, great statline and he gave us the edge in crunchtime. although he turned it over a lot, just like perk who played well but costed us a lot also.. i'm giving this to kg, we won this in the 1st quarter but the bench gave up the lead. kg was the difference the whole game for us. great statline for him too especially defensively. if it wasn't for our bench and bad officiating, we would've won by 25pts.

Rondo, good to see Pruitt doing something in this game, though.

Rondo all the way, putting Deron in foul trouble went a long way in this one.

Those turnovers are going to come back to haunt us.
23 is WAAAAY too many, and 6 by Rondo hurts no matter how well he played otherwise. It was our achilles heel last year too.
No matter how well we've been playing this season, the turnovers and abundance of technical fouls concerns me quite a bit. We're a veteran team, these should not be problems.

i also want to appreciate the play of pruitt. he looked confident out there and shows signs of being ready to contribute for us this year at the pg spot. he needs more pt to get accustomed to the pressure.

I will go with the least appreciated Celtic in Perkins. This man, as Gary Tanguay said was a beast and has been for a good stretch now but yet goes unrecognized. He could of had a better game but the refs hate him and call phantom fouls on him (like when Okur lowered his shoulder twice into Perk yet Perk was called for the foul) and wont call fouls for him (he gets hacked so many times under the basket and yet no whistle) but he is still producing. What a bargain!!!

You have just been Perk'd!!!

One of these days, Rajon Rondo will incorporate a little pull-up jumper to his game. One of these days, he'll come down on the fast break and take a nice little 12-footer right off the bounce.
"He does it in practice," insists Doc Rivers. "It's just a matter of confidence. It will come. And when it does, it's all over."

Can`t wait to see him start taking that jumper. That would really make him unstoppable!

Gotta be Rondo...although he tried to get too cute with dribbling and passes a few times and turned it over, he was non-stop energy and aggression and he got Deron in foul trouble early...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Rondo even with all the TO he still dominated Williams. That is a battle he isnt going to win every night. But it shows you how good he is that he can win it his share. Last year UT came in here and beat the celts bad if I remember correctly.

Rondo, but I have to give a special shout-out to Gabe Pruitt.
Total team effort, but Rondo bailed them out in the fourth.

What a great thing for this team that Rondo and Perk are so often in the running for the Victory Cigar.
In the end, I gave it to Rondo. I think sometimes he just tries to get too cute with the passes. I wish he would stop trying that bounce pass to Perk in the paint, that never seems to work out.

Same with that bullet bounce pass to Paul that hit Pierce in the knee! But overall he's been great...
