I'm not too worried either. Both have played well when given the opportunity, and if one struggles, we can always look to Daymeion Hughes or Tim Jennings and see what they can do. I don't think we've ever been deeper at the CB position recently then we are now. We may not have a lot of experience, but there is a lot of talent and quality there from top to bottom.

yeah but as you said neither jackson or hayden have that much experience....can't rely on neither jennings or hughes cuz they both have 0 experience

IMO we're screwed in passing defense next year

This may sound strange, but I think we are better at the CB position than last year.

Marlin Jackson played as our slot CB all season. Both Marlin and Hayden played well in huge games in the AFC Championship and Super Bowl. You have to start somewhere. These guys have been going up against Harrison and Wayne in practice for 2 years now, have some faith...we're far from screwed. These guys were high draft picks too, we saw how solid Harper and David were in the Cover 2...and one was undrafted, the other a fourth round pick. These guys were our first and second round pick two years ago.

Jackson: 1st round pick
Hayden: 2nd round pick
Jennings: 2nd round pick
Hughes: 3rd round pick

They have a lot of talent. Just lack game expirence.

Actaully not really. They will have their hands full for a few weeks, but i think they will progress nicely and be alot better towards the end of the season

You have to start somewhere. Antoine Bethea started as a rookie, ditto for Jason David. The fact is, these guys aren't even rookies...and are ready for the starting roles, that is why we let Harper and David walk.
