But given that I'm in the east, the game is all over here.
I guess I'll wait until tomorrow morning and check in here to see what you folks were saying as you watched it. I won't give information away. Enjoy.

Cinnamon, it's officially over on the west coast as well. So you won't be spoiling anything :)

It's fine now. The game just ended. It's just that no one wanted the game to be spoiled, but since it's over you can say what you like. There was just a stupid tape delay.

First off, I can't stand taped delay games. Too much temptation and it just doesn't feel the same.

You said it, brotha man.

Not gonna lie, I was pretty nervous about this one till there were about 3 minutes left, Thunder did a good job (almost too good of a job) of hanging in there. Durant impressed me, I didn't know he had that kinda thunder in his game...excuse the pun. I also noticed that the Thunder have some loyal fans out there-- a 2-24 team and their arena looked pretty full, so respect to them. But the most important thing of the night: we extended our winning streak! Chicago fell to Charlotte in OT tonight, so they'll have to travel as well after playing 5 extra minutes.

I wouldn't call this game solid, but we got what we came for so now it's time to move on and do work in Chi-Town.

Rose will be a problem for us just like Mayo was. We'll need to replicate this game plus get even more bench production to beat Chi in Chi.

Nice game it should be over for everyone by now.

We need Kaman off the bench bad trading him is not an option unless we get a ton of high quailty bench players. Lol I'm talking Kaman in a weird trade for Milsap, Odom, Barbosa, and Gibson. The bench we have is struggling bad and are not even doing their primary job as solid defenders to well. So far we always lose the lead when 3/5 of the bench is in the game at the same time.

Overall another win is great to have in any case. I am however worried about tommorrow's game we can not sag on perimeter D against the Bulls they have too many weapons. I'd suggest trying Gordon to guard Rose out of fear of Baron getting burned. Chi-Town doesn't really have dominant bigs rather bigs who can get hot at any point in any game.

The focus point of our next game is defending the perimeter because if we don't Rose, Gordon, Deng, and Hughes will and can go off on us. For tonight though lets enjoy a solid win.

Yeah, Rose is looking awfully good.
But Chicago has been very inconsistent this year, and we're on a roll. I think we should go into it with optimism.

Let's keep this winning streak alive!

Bulls also came off a loss today...playing OT...deng is limping...I think we have a good chance to win tomorrow's game :)

Yeah I still believe we have a great chance of winning just can't ball watch on rebounds and lock down on the outside.

Forgot to say earlier:
Thanks to everyone who let me know it was okay to post comments because the game was over out there.
I type with two fingers and a thumb, so it's an extremely slow process. A whole quarter can pretty well pass while I plod through one post, much less an entire page of posts on this board.

Need some time and plays for Novak just catch and shoot no biggie. Seems like if a defender is a itch close to him he will pass it away. Needs to be aggressive and shoot over his man. He might be one of the ansewers to our bench problems but he needs to ge it going off the passes to him . His defense isn't that bad either. He has made some stops this season.

Good overall win, but a few comments:

I loved how we came out in the beginning of the game. We had a certain swagger, we were playing like we thought we were one of the best teams in the league... Making good decisions, unselfish plays, hustling, Camby with some great putbacks and Gordon was nailing shots and had no emotion in his face...

Then, I think it was the in the 2nd or the 3rd quarter when things started to get out of hand. The bench (other than Thorton, and even he at times settled for contested jumpers), wasn't doing too well, and then when we got Baron out there, he became Barren again, and went into chuck mode and looked like he was missing 3 after 3.

Finally, in the 4th we got it together, strung a few plays together, Baron made a 3 and Gordon started taking over. Hits a three, then gets a fast break dunk I believe, and that put us out of striking range.

The funniest part of the game, I think it was the end of the second or third quarter, when the Thunder were starting to make a big run, Watson was guarding Baron, and then Baron just bowls him over on to the ground, and he just walks off... That was so funny, considering they're supposed to be friends! It reminded me of the time he floored that little punk Derek Fisher with a shoulder check and didn't help him up.

And I like our chances against the Bulls. Other than Ben Gordon going off for 30, and Rose having double digit assists, we shouldn't have to worry too much, and our offensive weapons should be too much for them to handle. Hopefully we can continue our momentum and keep our win streak alive.
