RealGM's College Football All-American Team (QB Voting)

Post#1 » by A.J. » Tue Dec 16, 2008 2:59 am

Well, with the regular season over the All-American teams are coming out, so why not have our own college football forum all-american team. I will start a poll with the question who is your vote as First-Team All-American at each position (QB, RB, WR, TE, OT, OG, DE, DT, OLB, ILB, CB, S, K, P, RS). For positions where 2 players must be selected (RB, OT, OG, DE, DT, OLB, CB, and S) the 2 highest vote-getters will be placed on the college football forums all-american team. Each poll will be run for 2 days, with 8 nominees as your options in the polls. Hopefully this will be a good segment, that should spark some good, clean discussion and a fun thing to do.

Well first up is QB, and (in no order) the 8 nominees are

My vote has to be Bradford also. The guy was great this season. And winning the heisman won't hurt either.

Tebow.

Not taking away anything from the other guys, but the poll is about who is the best QB, and not the best passer.

McCoy was a better game manager, and rushed for more yards and TDs than Tebow did.

Still doesn't matter.

Tebow was the best QB in the country this year.

It's about quarterbacking, not stats.

this season bradford was better than tebow at everything quarterback should be doing which means he was better at "quarterbacking".

Apparently the poll ended already.

I would vote for Colt McCoy for doing more with less than Bradford or Tebow. Real strong year for college QBs.
