It always seems like when I'm back home in Rockford, the Hawks are on WGN so I can't watch. We don't get WGN 9 because "we don't want to become a suburb of Chicago." Nevermind the renamed Chicago-Rockford International Airport...

This is a huge week for us with 3 games on the road vs good west conferecne teams.

Hawks and Oilers are a combined 9-1-1 in December.

Anyone else live in Chicago and have the privilege of seeing this game on WGN? If you don't, here's what you missed.........the first goal of the game. Cause apparently WGN thought it was a good idea to go to a replay as the ref was dropping the puck. A few seconds later, an abrupt cut away from the replay to a mob of Hawks players celebrating a goal. How's that for bush league?

I swear to god between WGN's production blunders to technical issues that plague Comcast's broadcasts you would think Chicago was a town of 50,000 let alone the 3rd biggest market in the USA.

And WGN nearly missed Verstud's goal as well! They cut back to the action right as Ladd was "passing" it to Versteeg. They didn't show any of the buildup at all. Wow, it never ceases to amaze me how terrible WGN is at producing sports.

Did anyone else think that 7th goal was going to get called back?

This is a fun game to watch...I guess Edmonton wasn't that hot after all....or we're just too friggen good!
