5 year contract. Only one pick left to sign. Olsen was the first pick to sign from either of the first 2 rounds for any team.

Drew had some contract ideas for briggs the team might like. He hopes.

Maybe without the future money that would have gone to tanks extenstion, they feel they might be able to keep briggs. Who knows.

Good move by Angelo signin him for 5 years and getting this done as quick as possible. Don't want him to miss Summer Camp.

In light of the whole Briggs situation, I think this is great news.

Cliff Levingston was worried about Olsen considering his agent is Rosenhaus. Let's get his ass on the field now cause we can sure use him.

It'd be sweet if we could somehow lock up Briggs long term but Cliff Levingston is skeptical. Angelo won't and shouldn't break the bank for him given the other players we'll need to be re-signing in the near future (Tommie Harris most notably).

The best thing about Rosenhaus is that the fans & the press hate him, but GMs like dealing with him. He has the ability to segment his players no matter how tuff the negotiation or public backlash. I heard Angelo on espn100 saying Rosenhaus was one of his favorite agents to deal with over the last 20 years.
