Although Ray wasn't hitting his shots tonight, I thought he played really good defense on JJ throughout the game. Rondo played very well, and KG was just clutch in the 4Qtr. Gotta give it to KG tonight.

We keep rolling and I am enjoying the ride!

Yeah, I don't get why Pierce isn't matched up with JJ on key defensive possessions. You can get away with playing Ray on JJ for large chunks of the game, but when you need a stop...That's a horrible matchup. JJ has three inches and 40 pounds on Ray. Put Ray on Marvin because you know he's not getting the ball.

Great game guys. KG really steped up at the end and Kendrick Perkins has improved a lot since last year. Good luck until we meet again.

That's how you get the job done. Unbelievable game. Like Perk said, every game is a rivalry but damn these Hawks have one good athletic team. In all honesty I would rather face Cleveland than them in the playoffs. They scare me more. As of what I've saw last night:

1.) Boston
2.) Cleveland
3.) Atlanta

- the rest is garbage.

And don't worry Rondo. While the rest of the guards await the all-star calling you'll be too busy cleaning your championship rings :)

Forgot to add: When JJ went to the line in the last secs of the game, Donny said no way will he be shooting 100% from the line. And he missed his 2nd. Donny might not be the best color commentator but he knows his sh@**t

I disagree. Sure, hawks have a nice team but they are not even close to CLE. Not even close. I also think ORL is a little better (and the pistons will be in the playoffs)...

We play better against Cavs than we do versus Atlanta.

Wow what a game...although I wanted to punch Josh Smith in the face after his preening following his dunk to tie it at 77. Dude, why don't you make an All-star team or three or win something in the league before pulling that ****...:censored:
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Pruitt has a good game and is on the bench the following game. Typical Doc Rivers. It doesn't bother me too much against a team as good as Atlanta, but it does bother me that it happens against teams mediocre or worse.

just wanted to stop by and congratulate you guys on the W. We've had a couple of great battles with you guys this season and showed that we are a force to be reckoned with in the EC. But the C's have shown why they are the champs by winning both matchups at the end of the game.

Yeah, same here. Great game all. You all are blessed to root for such a damn good team. I thought that you were very impressive in the fact that you were struggling to knock down 3s, but still found a way to beat us. The key difference between the two is an obvious one, Kevin Garnett. When he is on his game, we can't do anything to stop him at all. Josh Smith played about as good defense as you can on that position which gave you all the lead. Good luck(like you need it) the rest of the year, and I look forward to playing you all again.

Ahhhhhh, you know, that didn't bother me at all. Imagine how high the emotion runs for these professional athletes. At first I thought it was lame, but then I was like, you know what? The young fella made a power move to tie a close game against the best team in the league. I wonder how I would have reacted if I had done the same move. I was more upset with Boston's defense on that play :P

And to all Hawks fans, two things:

1) You got a pretty damn scary team yourself, and
2) Dating back to last year's playoffs, you guys were classy and really fun to chat hoops with. Come talk anytime, even when our teams aren't playing!
