Vote for your man Stockton

Quite a few people don't think Stockton was good enough to be considered a superstar. Vote for him in this poll:

That is perhaps the stupidest thread I've had the misfortune of reading on RealGM. Quite a lot of nobs with inflated opinions of their opinions.

^This is true. But I want to officially declare that I voted for Stockton. I want everybody to know that I believe I was watching a top-5 player and a superstar during my entire early stages as a Jazzfan. He got me addicted to basketball...and I never even lived in Utah. I'm from the East Coast. But I loved the Stock, and all the years watching him late night in DirecTV. The records testify. He was a superstar.

He had the talent but not the personality. He's the best pure PG this league has ever seen and right up there with Magic as the best PG that played the game but he hated the spot light enough to not be a superstar.

Same here... although we don't get much jazz bball back then, it was when I saw stockton play that I became a fan of the Jazz.

the only thing this guy ever cared about was winning, nothing else, he probably doesnt give a damn what everyone on RealGM thinks of him....but we all know he was a superstar, whether he likes it or not.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

Not just winning, but loyalty. Stock was loyal to the Jazz because they took a gamble on him and gave him a chance. It appears Deron Williams and Paul Millsap appear that way, as well....
