OT: Question from a Knicks fan

What's up Clippers fans? As a Knicks fan, I've always followed Camby since he was traded in a move that set us back year, and I love his game. I never loved Randolph, but he's definitely playing better this year than last year. I haven't had a chance to watch too many Clippers games, and I was wondering why they haven't been winning more games? I don't think they're necessarily a playoff team, but it seems they should be better than 7-18. If anyone can mask Randolph's defensive insufficiencies, it's Camby, and with Kaman and Thornton, who could end up being a very special player, their rotation is pretty solid. Is it Davis? If he was motivated, I think he could get this team to .500 but it seems like he just doesn't care. I hate to say it, but he could be Steve Francis part 2. Also, why hasn't Gordon been getting minutes? Anyway, let me know what you guys think.

BD has been a dissapointment.
His numbers dont indicate his effort or his play.

The Clips are 5-5 since Z-Bo has been inserted into the starting lineup, it could've easily been 8-2. Safe to say had we started the season 10 games ago, we'd be a playoff team. But our record is what it is, and playoffs is out of the question at this point. We're just trying to gain two important things: Wins and respectability.

As for Gordon, ignore his season stats. He became a starter 13 games ago and his numbers have jumped all across the board.

they had to play tough teams early in the season, and after the trade had to adjust to the new players. If they had the same exact team at the start of the season I'm sure their record would be waaaay better. Injuries to davis and kaman haven't helped either.

How's BD been a disappointment? Turnovers are down and his assists are up. I didn't think he was going to put up the numbers like he did in GS since their offenses are like day and night (compared to the clips)

I really think coaching has a big thing to do with our troubles this season. The slow, stagnant offensive tempo isn't working, and will continue to not work. Ball movement works wonders with this team.

I'm not really buying the coaching excuse yet. There is a lack ball movement because there has been a lack of chemistry. Who do we have left from last year's roster? Kaman, Thornton, and Paul Davis? We had Cat and TT as well, but they were both shipped out to bring in ZBo 10 games in which was a great trade talent wise, but that added to the roster shake up.

I'm not saying Dunleavy is a good coach or even the right coach for this team. But I'm not sure how much more can be expected. We have had basically no bench production offensively. We have no choice but to over play our starters 40+ minutes just to keep us in the game which leads to them being completely wore down some nights. We've had one injury after another. It is hard to build up chemistry and for everyone to find their role within the team that way. I think we looked better the last few weeks. Had we had a competent bench that was capable of giving us 15-20 points on a given night we probably win at least 2-3 of those games we lost since the Z-Bo trade.

If we can get relatively healthy as the season goes along. I expect we will start to look like a competent basketball team.
