Re: Whoever They Play Next @ Denver Nuggets
We were just plain outcoached tonight. They picked us apart for almost whatever shot they wanted and Karl made no adjustment. Our offense had no flow, just one pass and shot.
AC guarding Bron. Balkman not even getting a chance, especially going into a back-to-back. wtf.

A few observations of the game......
First, that was an absolute MOCKERY by the refs. Terrible game. I've never seen officiating THAT bad in our own house. Chauncey got hit with three early, Melo got beat up but got called for fouls that Bron committed...what a disgrace.
Second, we got outplayed. Period. We couldn't hit a shot, we didn't look for the extra pass, our rotations were slow. Too many open looks at the basket, it was like last years team showed up.
George, for **** and giggles, why the hell don't you TRY Balkman on Bron?
Nice job by Anderson tonight. Looked like a poor man's Camby.
Kenyon lost his damned mind after the flagrant foul. When you're down 15, you don't commit a technical for no reason. You already got the "and 1".
JR is playing better defense. We need him starting (KARL, you listening?) However, he still needs to slow it down a tad on offense, a few bad turnovers changed the momentum back to the Cavs.
How are we going to trade Chucky - IF WE DON'T GIVE HIM SOME TICK? Especially with Billups in foul trouble?
If anyone in Denver has some extra tix, let me know (assuming we have a home game this week). I'm driving to CO tomorrow from the Bay Area, hope I make it! Happy Holidays, everyone!

Completely. Especially when you're trying to yell for the Nuggets. Every time the crowd would get some momentum, whistle, foul, whoops, embarrassing.
I feel so embarrassed for my Nuggs. Freak LeBron catches his own missed free throw, resets on the free throw line and gets 2 for 1.
No doubt LeBron had the skills but more importantly the confidence to win this game, but our guys were just zombies. Sure you get tired with all those whistles, but they did not look like they had any energy out there. It's like they stayed up all night and forgot they had a game.

have a safe trip man, fellow californian here
Kenyon actually caught a spark from the crowd right before the technical - I think he was the most frustrated about the constant bump and stop, bump and stop, and you know the Cavs were scoring in slow motion so that's got to be irritating

Agree with whats been said so far, that was just embarrassing.
We could be so much better with a real coach. Watching Karl hold this team back makes me want to rip my hair out.

Pathetic showing from the starters tonight, no other way to spin it, the starters got outplayed and our bench actually outplayed our starters and the cavs bench.
What a pussy ass showing by nene, seriously 1 point and 2 rebound?. I thought chauncey forced the issue too much tonight as well.
This is the game i hoped we would win because it isn't going to be any easier tomorow but i'll try to be positive and hope we have a better showing and actually win.

Good game Nuggets fans. JR Smith has some serious talent, as you guys mention above - he should really be starting at SG.
Billups-JR-Melo with Kenyon/Nene up front is tough to defend and you would still have guys like Kleiza to score off the bench. Best of luck the rest of the season.

Trust and believe they are as good as advertised. Any team with LeBron James on it, is top 3 in offense, top 3 in defense, and top 7 in rebounding is as good as advertised.
I told you. Seriously, I don't want to hear anything about the refs. Fact is this is the SECOND time we got completely outplayed, out-coached, out-hustled, and man handled by the Cleveland Cavaliers this year! Last game their bench killed us, this game their ENTIRE team killed us. Nevermind the fact that they were without the services of their 6th man, Daniel Gibson, this was Z's first game back from an injury and he WENT OFF! HE WAS EVEN HITTING 3s! Our defense was horrible, Billups got outplayed by Mo the last game and then by Delonte this game! Melo got shut down AGAIN by LeBron! 3-4 bad calls in LeBron's favor does not cause this poor of a performance for 48 mins! I'm not even going to bother to mention Kenyon, Nene, and Dahntay Jones.
Sleep on the Cavs if you want, Cleveland is better than us! PERIOD! They are as good as advertised!

We'll never know. Denver forgot to show up. They did sleep on the Cavs. I got a good nap in too.

How in the WORLD could they fall asleep going up against the 2nd best team in the league? This isn't the first time we got beat by the Cavs this year remember. The Cavs came in our house and PUT US TO SLEEP like we were unwanted puppies at the local pound! Embarrassing! LeBron nearly dropped a freaking triple double on us and shut Melo down AGAIN, without breaking a sweat.

I don't know....I went to the game on a whim thinking it would be a pretty damn good game. Couple nights off, time to rest and recoup, they've got to at least have energy.....if LeBron goes off, he goes off....but they could at least have the energy to match him. And they did, but they couldn't keep the fire going long enough.
That was completetly the feeling, just watching the ball bounce off the rim, watching the guy with the ball get stuck and not move w/out the ball, not box out, not drive enough when they were missing shots....it just felt like a lazy ass game on the Nuggets' side.
You almost wish Balkman was inserted right at the 3rd quarter to give the team some energy, to give them something to rally around. How could you not put an energy guy in when the guys were so slow Delonte West was spinning circles under the basket snaking through the outstretched arms of the "defenders" and getting the ball to go in.....that just tells me no one is watching Delonte's feet and soon enough Delonte has found some way to will the ball in.
Just lazy...pissed off at the refs, who cares, any team can get pissed off at the refs, the champion teams don't get pissed for nothing they get pissed for points.

Man, it's tough to watch (and I was watching from yet another crappy stream, which was already tough enough)... Bron was a beast there's just no stopping him and all Cavs seemed to make circus shots in the paint. Z knocking down every (open) shot... if he were open at midcourt, I'm sure he would have knocked it down too. West, Pavlovic were knocking down shots, even KMart got punked by Varejao.
I thought Cavs' transition defense was great... they would just surround the guy leading the break, it's nasty. And I'm pissed that every time we got an offensive rebound, all the guy would look at is just the rim, instead of his teammates, pass it back out to the guards and reset the offense !!! Going against 2-3 Cavs in the paint... oh my. And then KMart couldn't buy any shot tonight... and did Nene really finish with a chinese donut (1 pt) today?
Last thing, I think Melo is still getting caught up with LeBron hype. Okay Melo, you need to forget about LeBron "this superior player than me", focus on the team goal. He's taking all ill-advised shots all game long and seemed to have his own agenda. Without AC and Andersen and J.R. this score would have been really really ugly.
Congrats Cavs, great team.
