Terrible connection between our post players and our perimeter guys. Can't solely blame the passers. Big men were just not getting to the ball eihter. Miscommunications, miscues, which were surprising, because Bynum is usually the guy who grabs any pass within 10 feet of him, and Gasol always has an uncanny knack with his 2-man game.

From the beginning of the game, we weren't on the same page. Offensively, we were in a terrible funk. I haven't seen it that bad before, and it cost us tonight.

On a good note, Credit the 2nd unit for cutting down the lead in the 4th quarter and playing some nice defense against Miami's second unit. They made it a close game. Down the stretch, Kobe was Kobe, he had a great game until the last shot bounced out. It was a great individual matchup between Kobe and Wade, and despite what people say, they mostly did guard each other.

The only problem was the entire Heat offense revolved around setting picks for Wade, and considering our team is terrible at guarding the pick-and-roll, Wade had a field day attacking the rim.

Kobe had to work way too hard. But it's always nice to have a guy like that on your team when your offense is completely out of whack.

We've had our defensive struggles, but tonight wasn't one of them. The story of the game was our poor offense, which was surprising. We found a new way to lose tonight, and it revolved around trying to force/miscues into the post.

That's really puzzling, but I do give some credit for the scrappy heat defense, which prioritized putting a body on the big men, fronting them while being able to deter passes, and playing the passing lanes.

I want to say we found a new way to lose tonight because we scored such few points, but actually, the lack of chemistry and poor offensive execution have been quite common the past few weeks; that we did it at a slower pace in the halfcourt is what made it new.

Agree Miles on most of ur points..

Ohter than ur points i think to some extent officiating in the last 3 mins was terrible... Lot of call inside where not being made.. Gasol got mugged twice in the last 10 secs and no call was made.. Actually they made a wrong out of bounds call on the mugging.. The ball went off Gasol but Lakers got the ball and should have been a 2 shot shooting foul..

Ball was thrown by Wade on someones foot was called a kick ball.. and on top of that Phil was Teed up.. That was poor judgemnt from the refs and even poorer judgement from Phil..

Bynum is not a starter..he did nothing of impact and was actually taking bad fouls.. We need to bench him..

Bynum and Pau together is how they envision beating the Celtics, so it's important that they keep getting the 12 minutes per game they're currently getting as a duo. Besides that, I wouldn't be opposed to bringing Andrew off the bench to get him going again like they did last year.

Horrible officiating, sure. But the Lakers defense and offense were far worse than the officiating. Kobe's and Phil's comments afterwards were ridiculous. Bringing up free throws as if that was what lost us the game. Lame. Accountability, please.

Bynum having a down slump is not a big deal in my mind. To suggest putting Odom back in as a starter is ludicrous because he was terrible yesterday. TERRIBLE....

Go play Josh Powell for eight minutes (he played tough I like what I see from him every time he plays). Trade Lamar Odom and trade Jordan Farmar if need be but first Odom.

Mourning at his old age even would never accept any of that **** the league gives to Bynum.

God damn I'm going to say it and I hope no one quotes me on this but f it anyway. I miss Shaq. The man was a train. Never intimidated by any one person in his career (for a reason  ). You knew the Lakers would never be outfought underneath the basket.

Zo is only playing for the Heat. He's been at several games, including yesterday's, signing autographs and meeting with fans. I wouldn't count on getting him. Regardless he's hurt and might not be ready to play until February and he'll be rusty then too.

To the Lakers defense, Odom has been fighting a respiratory virus for two weeks and is apparently sick as a dog. Pau DNP last game because he had a bad head cold. Maybe we should consider that.
