"We live in this weather," McCarthy said. "We're comfortable with the fact it'll be cold. I don't think the temperature is the factor playing outside from my experience and the way we prepare a team. The things you need to prepare for are really the wind and things like that. Just with our situation as far as our field and so forth, that's why we're still inside."
I found this interesting from that article. We didn't practice outside for the NFC Championship game either.

Harrell being injured again? this record is broken. or you could say this Cd has a smudge in it.
as for not practicing outside. I guess the packers learned nothing from last year's mistake of not practicing outdoors. We can't practice because the field is frozen and has snow on it? what a bunch of California wimps. get out a snow plow to clear off the snow and put better heaters under the field. and start drafting players from the north rather than florida and California who can handle temps below 60 degrees.
i was outside today fixing my Christmas lights. i wore a hat and gloves. it gets cold in December Deal with it McCarthy
