Didn't like the signing when it happened, (pretty sure got in quite a few arguments when it happened)

Let's a take a look around the league of pg's that are better than Beno.

Atlantic Div
R. Rondo, D. Harris, A. Miller, J. Calderon (4/5 better)
C. Duhon (Same production, much better contract)

Central Div.
M. Williams, A. Iverson, D. Rose, T. Ford (4/5 better)
R. Sessions (either way)

Southeast
M. Bibby, R. Felton, G. Arenas (3/5 better)
J. Nelson (I'd say better)
Whoever plays for Miami (Worse)

Southwest
C. Paul, T. Parker, J. Kidd (3/5 better)
R. Alston (playing better this year)

Northwest Div
C. Billups, D. Williams (2/5 Better)

Pacific
B. Davis, S. Nash, M. Ellis (3/4 Better)

Fact is, Beno isn't a top 20 PG, and is barely a top 25 starting PG.
Horrible starter on a horrible contract, horrible move.

Are you kidding me? I would MUCH rather have Chalmers on this team than Beno, 10 times out of 10!

I didn't see the game, but from the boxscore, I thought the firing of Reggie was because he wasn't playing the young guns..

Moore = 20 mins compared to Thompson's 15
Miler = 35 mins compared to Hawes' 26
BJ's 21 to BB's 13
and Donte only 6 mins

Showcasing!? I hope....Mikki did pretty well against Yao, well.... better than anyone else. You could actually see why they played tonight, but still, we end up with both a loss and very little development time, YAY!

Natts gotta build that resume you know! C'mon Natt, sacrifice yourself to the gods of suckitude!!! Do it! Do it! Do it! Good for us, bad for you, suck eggs, tough sh*t.

It was reportedly one of the main heaped on excuses. Natt's first interview he basically said that was the priority. Actions speak louder than words, still, like I said you could see the ones that played were playing out of the ordinary. Bobby was playing like the Bo-Jax of 6-7 years ago.

He's playing poorly yet he's on par with quite a few starting PG's, Alston, Ridnour, etc. Coincidentally they all make around the same money, hmmm....noticing a trend here.

He's really been terrible the last 3 games though, and I mean just aboslutely horrid. I think there is something we don't know. They said he left the game with a hamstring injury tonight, I think he's been hurt and trying to play through it because these last 3 games are just beyond terrible.

From what I've gathered, Chalmers has definitely been better than Beno so far this season

And yeah, give me Mario over Beno, as well

Forgot about Chalmers, even furthers my point, Beno is probably a bottom 5 starting PG in the league.

There isn't a single PG in the league, that you can say that Beno is clearly better than, in the sense that it will actually make a difference in a game. All the other PG's (S. Blake, D. Fischer, L. Ridnour, etc.) are as good or around the level of Beno. He simply won't cut it.

Like has been said before, Beno's best suited on a contender with other various quality players to complement his shortcomings. Other-wise, he'll be kinda exposed too much.

And he doesn't do that well as a bench player, as shown for the majority of that stretch last season when he came off behind Bibby (until Mike was dealt), and for a lot of his time in SA (though injuries also were a significant factor there).

Who from the organization explicitly said that?

But more importantly, the thing to remember is that developing young players does not equal giving them a ton of playing time. Geoff not only said that Theus was fired because of the teams performance, but also said specifically that young players were earning their minutes. We didn't win the game last night but we were in it, and it was worth trying to win.

Actually the main point from what I heard of what Geoff said at the mini-press conference they showed clips from before the game the other night was why not just get it over with, it's going to happen anyway.

He said something to the effect that Reggie's time was done is Sac regardless so why drag it out any longer. Even Reggie apparently knew it as soon as his option wasn't picked up, not that it takes a brainiac.

Well....yeah, I wasn't arguing that.
