Kevin doesn't play with half the heart Reggie did.

Well, Ron Artest says a lot strange things. Hopefully Kevin starts believing it himself, that may be good thing.

Of course you are still the reason why Martin is cursed with injury problems...DAMN YOU!
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Statistically, yes

Watching them play... not so much.

Ron only player with Reggie at the end of his career. Has Reggie been in his prime when he played with Artest, we'd be looking at it differently. Also, I don't think Reggie and Artest really got along, so this could be a cheap shot and nothing more.

Actually Reggie was a little one-dimensional (shooter). He did have the ability to step up other aspects of his game on occasion, but not as a constant. I think as shooters they are comparable, but when it comes to putting the ball on the floor and getting to the basket or the line, I rarely see the inate knack that Kevin has in less than full-blown superstars (Kobe; LeBron; etc.), and they get the benefit of that superstar call as well.
Defensively Kevin for sure needs some work, but Reggie was no all-NBA defender by any long stretch. I think that an overlooked aspect of Kevin's ability to play "D" is his speed in getting superior body positioning and drawing charges.

I don't think heart is the right word. I think Kevin plays with plenty of heart. The difference is the killer instinct that Reggie has.

I do think that Kevin is the over all more capable scorer though when you consider all the versatility he has.

No heart is the perfect word! I think Martin is a better athlete than Reggie Miller, but it stops there for me.

I look at heart as trying hard, more or less. Where Reggie outshines Kevin is really his mental toughness. It's not that Kevin is weak mentally, it's just that Reggie was really something else in that respect.

They're really quite similar, but what really separates Kevin from Reggie as far purely skill-related abilities is that he's an excellent shooter and he gets to the line better than almost anybody in the league, and that does wonders for his efficiency. Part of that is certainly his athleticism (well, more specifically his quickness), but he's also incredibly crafty offensively.

I look at "heart" as mental and emotional things.

I just don't think Martin is on the level Reggie was in his prime. I don't think Martin is too far from his prime. I don't think Martin has much room to grow physically, but mentally I think he can grow a lot. Truth be told Reggie Miller was one of the smartest players to play the game and that's what made Miller the man! I just think Miller played with an intensity and passion that few have played with. It just seems like Martin is happy being here if you know what I mean?
