Who goes off on us tonight?

My guess is Jason Terry. 30+ easily.

Other Prediction: We lose by 15+ and are out of it in the fourth, but Jamison and Butler still play 40+ minutes for no real reason.

If it wasn't for his contract, I wouldn't be opposed to keeping Mike James long term.

Tap is too fricken stupid to put a 7 footer on Dirk, I watched stunned as Dirk continues to shoot over shorter players.

This is officially the worst season I have experienced being a Bullets/Wizards fan. Honestly, I don't think I have ever forgotten that the Wizards were playing a game since I became a fan over 30 years ago...But, I did tonight. I completely forgot until now that the Wizards had a game. Glad I missed it.

Looking at the boxscore, I still can't understand why Butler and Jamison are getting 40+ minutes per night. Is there anyone left in this world, besides possibly the coaching staff, that believes the Wizards are going to turn it around???

I didn't watch this one and I might not watch any this week.

My thoughts about Butler and Jamison getting so many minutes is the Wizard coaches and management are idiots. Those two will both wear down and probably get hurt before Haywood or Arenas come back.

I'm going to do my best to not waste time following the Wizards until they put forth better efforts (wins commensurate with the talent and experience on the court).

Why should I follow this team? Their loyalty is only to getting Jamison and Butler shots and minutes--not to winning ball games.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Well, he put Blatche on Dirk and Blatche promptly committed two fouls about four seconds apart. His head was not in the game tonight. I don't know why he does that, to be honest. Someone needs to show him some film, every time he gets close enough to go for a steal he commits a foul. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Just don't bother, dude. You're not a guard, don't go for steals. Don't even think about them. Think about blocked shots and rebounds. That is all you are responsible for. Repeat after me. I am not a guard. I am not a guard. I am a forward/center. My responsibility on defense is to contest shots and get rebounds. I am not a guard. I do not have the foot speed to get steals. I am a forward/center. My responsibility on defense is to contest shots and get rebounds...

when I snap my fingers you will awaken. You will be a legitimate starting power forward in the NBA...
Help us, Obi-wan Leonsis. You're our only hope.

Oh Antawn...

"Most of our losses have come down the stretch and not communicating enough or playing team ball," Jamison said. "Once again tonight it was the same scenario."

Antawn Jamison led the Wizards with 22 points -- all in the first three periods -- Butler had 18 and Mike James 17.

At least DeShawn only played 15 minutes.

DeSuck was yanked twice today in favor of DMac. I see that as a major improvement.

That is good news indeed.

I'm ready to see DMac starting at SG instead of Stevenson (or start DMac at SF and Butler at SG, same thing). We've gotten to the point where DMac might honestly be a better shooter than Stevenson. DMac is a better defender and he sure as hell is a better rebounder.

I turned the game off with about 8 minutes to go. I've never done that before. I just wasn't interested in seeing the rest of the game. At that point, Songailia was at center, we were getting butt raped on the boards, and random Mav players were beng left open everytime down the court.

I honestly don't know why people even bother going to the games.

Tappscott is an Eddie Jordan flunky.
