Players and Agents
Would someone tell these player to stop whining about not having contract extensions and just play out the remainder of their contract and stop threatening to hold out. I'm getting sick and tired of paying good money to go watch all these cry babies say they may refuse to report to their teams for the final year of their contract if they don't get an extension. Its a bunch of crap, be thankful that you are all being paid good money to play a game you supposedly love to play. Enough is enough, someone shut these guys up, either play out your contract and worry about the extension later on or shut up and retire.

I would agree if it were the NBA, but the way the NFL cuts guys one year into a 6 year contract, with no serious penalty, I don't blame the players.
They want long term security, and the teams just want to pretend to be loyal, and then send them packing whenever they want.

With the way that the game is, and with the way that the contracts are structured, I'm actually with the players on this one.
An average Pro Football Player's lifespan is something like...3 years in the league. And especially with the toll that it takes on the body, a lot of these guys don't have many options after they make it out of the league. Also, Contracts are non-guaranteed, so these guys make a lot less than what is actually being reported on the articles and such.
