Victory Cigar 12/21 Win Vs. Knicks

Post#1 » by Truthiracy » Mon Dec 22, 2008 1:33 am

Celtics win 124-105, 18 straight, 26-2

I give it to Rondo... 26 pts and goes 9-9 in the 3rd

I would have listed it:

You may select one option:

RAJON RONDO

There's no one close, today.

Rondo certainly was something else especially in the third, it is really great to see him take over games offensively for stretches.

I still don't understand how there are fans around this country that still think Rondo is trash and think he would be nothing without the 3. I just don't get it.

Has to be rondo. That 3rd was amazing.

Quote of the game by Tommy, somewhat paraphrased: "If Richardson keeps banging his head every time he makes a shot he'll knock himself unconscious by the end of the game."

Good to see Rajon take over a game on offense. He just need to work on his free throw shooting technique...

Fans are just upset that Boston could actually have another great player outside of the Big 3... and they do.

If KG, Paul or Ray is to miss a game, I wouldn't worry, but if I heard Rondo wasn't going to play, I'd probably think they're gonna lose.

Because they don't watch any Celtics games, and because his PPG isn't high

Rondo could be the team MVP by the end of the year--and certainly earn it in the playoffs and finals.

The better Rondo plays the more bitter words there are for him in internetland. He's approaching KG in levels of spite written about him. Still way short of Tommy though in that regard.

Great game for Rondo. He shredded Chicago with the pass and NY with the drive. He's making the game easy for his teammates.

Rondo, easy choice tonight, though I gotta point out another solid night for Perk, 12/12 and 4 blocks (I think).

Rondo...it's like he decided "you know what, enough of this letting these crappy Knicks hang around, **** this" and he went on a tear!

Perk is a close second...dare I say he seems to be leaving the bad habits behind??
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

I voted Rondo for his third quarter outburst.

Oddly, he "only" was +12 compared to Ray's +32. Then again, Al Harrington, who went 2-15, had the Knicks' best +/-, so that tells you that stat isn't all that telling.

How good did the team look in the first quarter? Crisp passes, good shooting, boxing out -- it was fun to watch.
