Which number will the Lakers retire?
I'm sure this has been addressed before, but I was just wondering which number the Lakers will retire for Kobe, 8 or 24. He won three rings and scored 81 wearing 8, but won MVP wearing 24. If the Lakers snag another title in the next few years, does it change anything? Or will Kobe just insist on 24?

Depends on Kobe but I'm sure the Lakers will have no problem retiring both. Kobe is one of the greatest players this league has seen and he's been with us for his entire career.

I feel like if Kobe wanted to leave the 8 legacy behind then he probably would choose to retire 24.
(Though I still am not used to 24. He'll always be number 8 to me.)
