Look at Balkman's contributions. He's ripping down a ton of rebounds for the time he gets.

Anyone notice how we sit Balkman on the bench more often than not the last three games and these are the results. Balkman's almost like an every day player, every a possible sixth man, even a possible starter should Carmelo need to rest that elbow.

I would feel very confident with the team of Nene, Martin, Balkman, JR, Billups for a few games based on what the guy does.

Karl said one reason Renaldo Balkman's play has been erratic is he remains behind as a result of missing preseason time with injuries. "He doesn't know the plays (at power forward)," Karl said. "That's the problem. . . . I want to play him, but there's another end of the court (offense)."

I'm with corona. The whole thing pisses me off so much, I wish I didn't care as much as I do.

Karl's ignorance and stubbornness is holding this team back. I don't see how the front office and other assistant coaches can't see it.

Just another one of the those guys you should be playing and not getting anytime because your coach is an idiot.

Seriously balkman contribute more to this team then jones and i think his offense is probably better then jones as well, so if one gets time why not the other. I can't wait until the front office puts an end to all of this and just fire that coach already.

Apparently some of the starters still haven't learned the offensive plays. I don't see the difference? 8-)

Simple fix to all of our problems.....AC tears his ACL....order would be restored....a cure for cancer would be found....the war in the middle east would end.....I would perform better at work, and not be so short with my girlfriend.

Almost everyone else on the team must have missed the offensive seminar during the preseason as well. For example: Nene doesn't know how to roll off of the pick and roll. He rolls into his man instead of away from him to seal him off and get an easy dish and dunk. Besides Balkman (maybe Andersen) nobody crashes the offensive boards for us.

I don't get GK's logic in not giving him a few minutes to see what he can bring. He is a defensive specialist yet we don't play him against offensive stars. Instead we play AC on Lebron.

I thought Karl was stressing defense? Balkman is an energy player and he will get that steal for a breakaway dunk once or twice a game. If he could knock down the shots he made in the Boston game, there's no question he would be playing a lot of minutes... and starter material.

But even now, he should be getting more PT, damn you Karl!

Honestly...this is complete asbsurd. I can't understand why the hell Balkman is not getting more minutes. I know he's not a shooter or scorer...but he can d-up and does a great job on the o-boards... Karl just doesn't make any sense... can't wait to see AC take some minutes at the 3 now for Melo...lol

I find it funny that Karl cried all summer about losing Najera, and then refuses to use Balkman who is better at everything (except taking ugly 3s all game long) then Najera was. This smells of Karl trying to win an argument against someone in the front office.
